    Please educate us more about releasing CPTSD through block therapy. My ptsd keeps me in constant fear/flight and I'm constantly hurrying and making mistakes and anxious most of the day. But I refuse to take a prescription and have tried to just "deal with it" for over a decade. Please help by posting more short tutorial's about releasing ptsd.

    I've been groping toward this concept for decades, fixing mid-back pain by "blocking" at the point of restriction until it released. Never knew about a 3 minute rule, but that seems about right. Hungry for understanding of this fascinating organ (fascia)!

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  9 місяців тому

      The three minute rule is just a minimum time! Feel free to block in a position as long as your body allows! We are glad to hear you're enjoying our videos, thanks for watching!

    How often should we be doing block therapy during the week? I am in YTT 200 & also started exploring block therapy same time. Is it a daily practice focusing on all those stubborn areas or give days of rest?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Рік тому +5

      Great question Jess Lynn! There is no set amount of time you should spend doing Block Therapy. Many people enjoy 30 minutes - 1 hour per day, but it all depends on what your body allows. Some even do more than an hour! As you begin to dive into blocking, do as much as feels comfortable.

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Рік тому +4

      Yes, absolutely! Although we recommend addressing the cause sites first which includes the belly, psoas and hip flexors.

    Hi Deanna and Quin, I am absolutely fascinated by your approach to releasing Fascia with Block therapy and would love to use the programme. I am a fairly fit tall 80 year old but never been very flexible. Pilates helps greatly to keep me mobile. I feel concerned that your programme, like many others online, does not mention how it should be approached by a senior whose body has begun to suffer from gravity and reduced flexibility. can this programme be done safely at home with no-one to monitor the exercises. When shoulders are so locked, can the block therapy exercise be done safely, for example. Evelyn Harrison. Australia

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  11 місяців тому +5

      Hi Evelyn, thank you for your concern. Our programs are set up to be self-care, and many elderly students participate in it safely at home. We direct each participant to be careful and conscious of their breath, as their relaxed breath is a reliable indicator of the degree to which the body is safe in any position. It is also helpful that the positions are done isometrically, instead of dynamically, which has been shown to hold lower risk for people. I hope this helps to clarify!

    O what to do, where to go from here? I’ve studied and treated using MFR, but do you have a manual/vid program for treating frozen shoulder, migraine, shoulder/neck injuries, even constipation.? I’m very interested, but a long swim away 🇦🇺✨🇦🇺🙏🏻

    i assume its ok to use a foam roller for this (so long as you fix on points and dont actually roll) ?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  9 місяців тому

      Hi there, this is a great question! A foam roller wont necessarily apply as much pressure from the difference in shape. You can definitely give it a go though, but as you said, try not to roll!
