I worked on Gardner Engines when I was a young Apprentice in the 70s. When you saw one stripped down, you knew they were special, they were made to an exceptional standard.
That engine sounds amazing, you've done a brilliant job on it. well done😀
That truck is truly a thing of beauty 😊
Wow - it's as new - lots of hard work gone into that and all credit to those involved !
...then we come to that magnificent Gardner diesel - I could fall asleep to the sound of that !
When we first visited the truck we were very impressed. The owner has done an amazing job and it looks just as good when you are poking around bits that normally dont get seen. It really is a brilliant restoration.
Still an incredibly capable piece of kit. A pleasure to behold and listen to.
The Pioneer series always amazed me. A relatively small engine, especially compared with American recovery trucks of the period, but the torque and pulling power of the Pioneer is tremendous. 😊
Wonderful piece of machinery and congratulations on an outstanding job of preservation
Nice work guys!
She did sound sweet.
Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing with us. I have subscribed.
Well you can get race horses and cart horses. Race horse good for a mile a cart horse good for all day. Gardners are just so well made
