My interpretation of Methode Naturelle. Please take into account that I am not a certified Methode Naturelle coach or practitioner. You shouldn't make any judgments about this method (or similar functional fitness training methods like MovNat) based on this video.
Love this.
No flashy moves or stunts.
Just great control and grace born of strength, agility and timing.
Wonderful.
good training! your movement could be more fluid and safe. keep training especially on your rolling techniques! and try to land not too "stiff" :)
great video makes me think of my younger days in the black hills of south dakota,used to be a fitness fanatic like you,always loved working out in the outdoors better than in some sweaty ,stinky indoor gym, the outdoors always brought a feeling you just can't get indoors,the fresh pine air,the blu sky and the sound of the wind coming off the pine trees,was just intense,still try to get exercise,but at my age it is just a little harder now,keep up the great work,enjoy watching your videos!!!!!!
i like your videos... been a while since you put it up but i just found it and got inspired... love it
@Reegan86
Hi!
Yes I have thought about investing in VFFs. Just haven't done it yet. Actually those shoes I'm wearing in the video are kinda minimalistic too - thins sole, very flexible and lightweight.
Nice.....and no one needs to be "certified" to do anything....that's just another way for the "certifiers" to make money
Nice, but why are there no self defense moves? I think they are quite important to.
Amazing Toms
oh yeah!the truth is out there
Beautifull, thanks for posting
@hivelocity100 Yes I have. No I didn't encounter any significant problems. Just take it slowly because in the beginning your feet will be quite sensitive. It's not so tough for the skin than it is for all the small muscles in your feet. Basically they are not used to that kind of activity.
In Russian Systema this warm ups are called "lower acrobatics". It's used to control and moreover feel! your body.
@loveforeignaccents yeah, it would be great to have you as a training partner :) Where I live there are very few people interested in this kind of training.
Awesome vid Tom :)
@TheBailey40 I'm happy to help :) Right now I am quite busy (last year of studies, work, different projects...), but I will definitely post something in the near future.
This video was taken in Latvia - a small country located in the northern part of Europe. Currently I'm living and studying in UK, but I was born in Latvia.
@laddTim Thanks for feedback.
Yeah, rolling isn't very good. When you start to think too much about the correct technique, you start to lose fluidity.
Your videos look great. Especially the "Sunny funny day".
Keep it up mate ;)
Regards,
Tom
excellent - just went out last sunday morning in the woods doing movnat stuff - your video has given my loads of new ideas - thanks - keep posting more stuff.
where abouts is your workout video taken??????
@pieterdrk Yes, I'm quite satisfied with it :) Also the GYM in your videos is pretty nice.
Great video... love this kind of training. Ever thought about trying them Vibram Fivefingers out?
Greetings from Sweden ;-)
