When fighting sally stageplay, from the beginning of the fight until you are at about 1:15 in on the fight, you can damage her cardboard form above the screen until you defeat it. So when she hops in the car as a background, you can be dealing damage and basically skip the baby bottle and wind up mouse portion of the fight from damage you deal while she’s not on acreen
I just hope that they somehow patch this weapon switch abuse but I wouldn't know how since the game actually requires you to switch weapons quickly in some situations. Also what do you think will be the most popular category for this game? I think it's gonna be a big speedrunning game, at least I hope so
Yeah you're right and min maxing is important for speedruns but the devs surely didn't intend it to work like that so I'd call it abuse or rather exploiting. I can't really explain it but this switching seems "too" cheesy, at least for me. It's kinda like the glitched ds3 speedruns, yeah it's cool and all that you can run through the whole map, but the main category is always gonna be glitchless
Yep it's definitely pretty heavy abuse of the game mechanic, and it can break boss AI through the sheer DPS it does. It shouldn't be too difficult for them to patch - basically, the best solution is to add a universal cooldown on each weapon shot based on the shot speed of the gun that you fire. If you shoot a lobber shot, you take the delay you normally would experience between your first and second shot, and say that even if you swap guns, your next gun can't fire until that delay is over.
Really nice run. Your a really small youtuber, but your a lot better content wise than some of the more popular youtubers. Good luck on reaching 10k subs, I already subbed. Compared to Pewdeepie, your better than him( except in popularity, obviously) I do have a UA-cam channel(this is a alt I use for subs and comments) and I record a few times. fireb0rn Yeah, but Contra III had this exact mechanic with this exact trick. I have a feeling this was intentional.
