Coach definitely needed more size in the portal. All good, just need to get a more complete roster assembled for next year, hopefully one where we can successfully run man.
I’m so tired of our stagnant offense. I know our identity is in the three ball but that is just not a how you should play the college game, especially with our inconsistencies. Coach Drew needs to draw up plays that put pressure at the rim because the only paint points we get are put backs by Norchad. Half our offensive possessions are just swinging the rock around with zero purpose for 20 seconds and then chucking up a three. Also we are seeing the affects of not getting a center in the portal. It’s basically a free basket if the other team gets past the first defender, which normally happens cause of our smaller guards. Zero rim protection and horrible offensive schemes. This isn’t a case of “just not hitting shots” because we hit them tnt and still lost. Scott Drew has no one to blame but himself.
