I'm just so thankful for fan crafters. I agree with what you said the other day: I shouldn't HAVE to fix, modify, or replace the shoddy stuff I get from big companies. However, I am glad that, when I do, the money goes to the fan crafters and NOT these companies.
They say that clothes make the man. I think, after seeing these customs, it can be said that accessories make the toy. How is it tiny, independent toy fans can produce this kind of quality yet multi-billion dollar corporations can't? Hasbro could be producing all kinds of smaller vehicles and accessories like the Claw and the Sled for their 1:12 line, and they wouldn't have to crowdfund. Love the vignette style on this video, Tony. Definitely gives it a different feel.
Once again Hasbro, a multi-billion company, fails to make quality pieces. How hard is it to make an accessory piece. Well I guess the devil is in the details. On a positive note, I do like the eel snd the accompanying accessories. Thank goodness for the fans. 👍
Another great review Tony. For me, that 3 1/2 inch Red Shadows Officer struck the chord man, BEAUTIFUL and innovative! Other than that, the PAC Rat was exceptional!
I bought a Krakon Kreations Red Shadow Officer last week at Roll Out Roll Call. It’s awesome, I hope they make more figures so that I can use the magnetic limbs to parts swap.
The Cobra Claw is a great lil custom. I havent yet obtained a vintage one for my collection, but these smaller vehicles would have been in my family's budget back in the 80s and as such the ability to add one to the modern line would be a certainty for me. Thank gopdness that banana spear gun has been replaced by the new custom one, that looks fantastic!
I would love to buy one of those CLAWs -- looks like it's not available yet though. Hasbro is such an enigma. Some of their releases are terrific -- like the Ripper. Then they totally drop the ball on figures like the Cobra Eels. We are indeed very lucky to have 3D printing available to make up for the gaps in creativity, budget and sheer incompetence from the likes of Hasbro and other toy makers. Everytime I see this stuff, I immediately think of Michael's comment about fans doing the best work as well.
Off-topic: What's your thoughts on the recent announcement that super7 have licenced and will now produce new designed GI Joe O-Rings. Brian Flynn seems to be very passionate about this project. Love to hear your thoughts thank you
Upgrade? I still have been unable to buy one in Canada thanks to getting screwed over by Hasbro and Amazon with their "exclusives". It has never come up for order with actual quantities available that I've ever seen and I was checking for months every day, several times a day. I have one "ordered" but since they have no stock, have had no stock and might never get more stock it's meaningless. The only ones available are scalpers selling them for $141 CAD which come from the states. I just bought a 3D printer, maybe I'll just make one.
Been trying to find out why I haven't been seeing any of your vids lately, just noticed I didn't have "ALL " turned on for sub notifications , no its all about when we can find eels in stock at retail price haha
Fans making our wishes come true! I love my Officer from Matt. Hope to get an Eel and those killer accessories to trick him out. Great showcase Tony!!!
Thanks so much for featuring the officer here.. Its really nice to see these reaching others peoples collections and them being appreciated. And thanks to George also for sending on.
I'm late to the party, as usual. Every G.I. Joe Classified figure that I have collected "forced" me to dump their kits and go with a third party company. I predominantly go with Grid Iron Studios as their quality and accuracy is largely on point. I tried this with Hasbro's 60th Action Soldier, replacing 99% of that figures loadout for more accurate representation and the result eventually was accepted, abeit really fucking expensive. It basically became a pyrrhic win in the end.
Kraken Kreations made a terrific custom replica of the original 'Red Shadows officer'. The peaked cap should have been shaped a bit wider though, not an easy task with 3d printing.
WOW! Such a Valaverse shill reviewing a classified figure 🤪 Great video Tony. Always happy to hear what you have to say about figures I wouldn’t otherwise care about! That’s a testament to YOUR videos and attention to detail.
Wow! Every one of those printed projects is AMAZING. That RedOfficer is flat out incredible. Dude, why anyone would send you this kinda stuff is beyond me. They must have pretty low standards. 😉
Nice vid! I remember the day when my friend showed me the EEL he bought with his allowance. I wanted one so bad. Never did find one in store and neither did my parents when I asked for one for Christmas/Birthday.
I’m here because I just got the new preorder for the Retro version of this figure, it will be my first Classified figure since I only collect vintage, but this is one of my top figures from GI Joe too! Since it will be packed in a bubble with accessories in slots or such, I’m hoping the harpoon gun won’t be warped.
I know you have this because you collect toys maybe it’s a small ziplock bag or maybe a garage full broken or legs or arms or heads missing action figures share with us. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great review The Eel was my first Joe figure I got it from a friend who had sold it to me cuz He didn’t liked them. Such a nice figure and when i started to collect joes back in 2000 I was on the hunt for at least 8-9 figures to have troops. The classified version is really nice even if the accessories seem cheap
that sounded like Commando in the begining, one of my altime favorite Arnold films. and I have to say that EEL upgrade looks superb, I had the original too and it was cool as hell.
These do look incredible, although I have not heard of most of the toys you celebrate on your channel. It is fascinating to know that our childhood memories give us comfort, Toys help us travel back to a more innocent time. My mother became obsessed with Action Man for two years, so that was all I got for Christmas & Birthdays. I had all the WW2 stuff; Colditz, Stormtroopers, British Soldiers, The Camp, along with Vehicles. They were somewhat anachronistic being the Landrover, Scorpion Tank, Armoured Car, Motorcycles, Even Bedford Trucks, (Made in Hong Kong) one in Grey and one in Green. The whole lot looked impressive, but I never played with them. Eventually my Father sold everything at his place of work, all still with boxes. His staff bought everything within a few days. Dad used the profits to make my next Christmas perfect. Happy Times. Thank you for introducing me to a world hitherto unknown.
Tip for reforming plastic, use hot water, get the shape you want, then put in freezer for a few seconds. I did it to one of my figures legs, it worked like a charm
Great video, Tony. I'm not really a fan of 3D printed items, but those accessories to upgrade the Classified Eel are amazing. But why couldn't Hasbro get it right?
I love them ALL. 3D printing has come a long way. As a kid, I had the CLAW and all 3 PAC-RATs. They were just fun additions to my GI Joe toys. Very well made upsized 3D prints. Shows great engineering and adherence to a high quality standard. They look fantastic.
I really liked the Cobra Eel when I was a kid. One of the best Cobra figures. The thing that I liked in this video was the magnets for attaching the arms and legs. What a genius idea. So much opportunity and eliminates the worry of breaking. Great content.
I think the PAC Rat is pretty cool. Fitting I see this video while I'm sitting here deciding which Valaverse weapons to give to a few Classified figures I picked up recently LOL
Great video. I love what fans are doing with 3D Printing and some of the original ideas and vintage style pieces that they come up with and make. So cool what can be made at home and in a few hours.
The eel upgrades were my favorite even though I don't have one yet, i really have to admire the engineering of that red shadows officer that's really good.
Got to say, the upgrade kit and the hydrosled are now on my purchasing list. For the helmet I did find I had to tilt the head back a little for it to fit better

Missed out on the Eel. Keep hoping for a re-issue because I always wanted one.
I believe they are putting one out on a retro card in 2024. Not sure how different it will be though.
*Analog Toys = Quality engaging Videos.*
Mark does such phenomenal work. I love his weapons packs. And that Red Shadows Officer looks amazing!
Kraken Kreations' Mamba Man figure is also very cool.

I like the music, myself. Loud Crunchy Guitar Tones!

Super7 sux!
I'd just like to get one Classified Cobra Eel without having to sell a kidney

It’s wild how fans of the classics swooped in and picked up where hasbro dropped the ball on classified g.I.joes and transformers. 🤨
The Eel was my favourite too! Much like how I really loved the Tie Pilot for Star Wars.
Been trying to find out why I haven't been seeing any of your vids lately, just noticed I didn't have "ALL " turned on for sub notifications , no its all about when we can find eels in stock at retail price haha
Kraken Kreations' Mamba Man figure is great too. The pix of his Kraken Kommander figure also look very promising.
cant find plus cost arm and a leg in u.s
🤩now that is an upgrade.
Fans making our wishes come true! I love my Officer from Matt. Hope to get an Eel and those killer accessories to trick him out. Great showcase Tony!!!
I'm glad that we have resources to get customized accessories since the copyright owners are too lazy for that.
Thanks so much for featuring the officer here.. Its really nice to see these reaching others peoples collections and them being appreciated. And thanks to George also for sending on.
Awesome

Magnets for joints is very creative. Now they are unbreakable.

On the hunt for the Eel upgrades, Mark 2 doesn't offer them anymore
Aww you said it! Nevertheless it bears repeating: The Fans do the Best Work.
Tip for reforming plastic, use hot water, get the shape you want, then put in freezer for a few seconds. I did it to one of my figures legs, it worked like a charm
As one ex Army to another. I love your channel. Great, see you making this fantastic content. I also live near you.
I printed one of those sleds from Mark..his sculpt is awesome
It’s an insult the retro Eel won’t come with a backpack and harpoon gun like this.
Thank you Tony, you helped reignite my love for GI Joe
Have you tried the hot water to cold water technique? That's worked for me in the past.
Issue 2 of Action Force weekly came free with issue 1...
LOL, it took me 4 minutes to realize you were saying "eel".😜
The Eel upgrade was the coolest Tony and that is top notch and knock out of the ballpark 😮
I have the two M2D weapons packs and they are awesome even unpainted
Awesome upgrades indeed, great video 🤘🏻
Very expensive figure
Next time I’ll send a mamba man
Dig the Cobra t-shirt.
Mark’s accessories really are game changers!
Great video, Tony.
I'm not really a fan of 3D printed items, but those accessories to upgrade the Classified Eel are amazing.
But why couldn't Hasbro get it right?
Because they chose not to, period.
Great video

Seeing a updated pac rat is a total delight! If there's a updated flamethrower pac rat(my favorite)....I'd buy one!
I really liked the Cobra Eel when I was a kid. One of the best Cobra figures. The thing that I liked in this video was the magnets for attaching the arms and legs. What a genius idea. So much opportunity and eliminates the worry of breaking. Great content.

Hell yeah, Cobra Eels! 👍 That CLAW is great too, surprised Hasbro hasn’t puked one out yet.
