Your one and only lure making video showed up in my feed of suggested videos, so I watched it again. I've seen a few others use lasers in the past year as a lure making tool. I hope this wasn't your last build!
Welcome aboard! 🤣 you are literally the only person on UA-cam who appreciates my lure making video! This video when I launched it, I thought would do well, but actually no one cared about it,, its a lonely world being a bass fisherman! and even more lonely making your own lures with lasers. 🤣
@@LaserEngraving911 Probably because I'm subscribed to almost 100 channels that make or have made lures, because it is a hobby of mine. I suppose it is a niche.
Once you've made a lure a couple times and know how much weight is needed, you can install the weight before gluing the halves together and then you won't need to use super-glue and baking soda after laser engraving. Great job on the lure build!
Great video thanks for the info. I love the camera system u have set up!!!! Can i do that using a Universal ULS 3.60, i also use corel for all my design work. THANKS
You absolutely can with your system out without the camera, and yeah Corel will work great. If you want some tips on how to to line up the graphic on the semi finished lure "without a camera" shoot me and email laserengraving911@gmail.com
Another question, do you think that airbrush u have would work when painting laser engraved wood if you masked first then engraved thru the mask? I am just getting ready to try your powder coat method. Thanks again for your help!!
It could work yes but hand painting with acrylic paint is much quicker, and thicker! I like using the mask and brush technique for those kinds of projects.

Awesome, I for sure am going to do that, I learned a lot from this whole project!
Awesome video. I hope to make some lures with my laser. I think my fishing buddy in Oregon would love to test the ones I make out.
That would be cool!
That's one tasty lure 👍 great video. Good luck with your catch

Adhesive instant Hardner will dry the superglue instantly instead of using baking soda. Comes in like an aerosol can
Awesome!
You can add a lip to it round bill or square bill
ooh nice!!

@LaserEngraving911 yes i actually just watched that video today. Thanks for your time
Another problem is the placement of the ring for attaching line: it should be at the front of the lure, not the top.
Good to know for alternative ring placements! Thanks!
