How to play ball...
1. Roll to spawn
2. Click "Change Hero"
(Unless your bellabooOW)
Tbh once you have positioning its pretty easy from there I've been playing ball for like 6 days and I went from a bronze 5 reinhardt to a silver 2 ball nearly silver 1 and I don't really have positioning fully down yet still working on that and I need to learn how to take full advantage of his traversal capabilities but good look
@@kxnpanda7643Ball becomes VERY difficult once you get to good ranks though. Positioning is the easier part of him.

I feel like ball really lends himself to showing off the abilities of each player. I love seeing how different top players play with ball, even amongst each other. You play a really calm ball if that makes sense, and you got good aim too.

Sometimes I'm surprised your gm. Not based on your game play, it's fucking great, the fact that you're diving and the other 4 are on payload. Like huh?

Question, I noticed that in a lot of the gameplay you were just using grapple for engage and damage, but rarely using it to disengage. I've heard that it's important to manage that cooldown so you can escape sticky situations. Is there a specific reason you're so aggressive with grapple, or is it just your play style?
Also, as a low rank ball main, I love your content, and was so glad to find you when I picked up Overwatch again.
She also used a lot the grapple to reach faster health packets
Just some quick decision making. Use it when appropriate. You can also save it for escape as well. Just get up to high ground first without grapple. There is a wrecking ball tech that allows you to do pile drives without using graple or already from an elevated platform. It's called wall jump, though I find it hard to get use to. More advanced wrecking ball mains can do it reliably
I think it’s because she’s mastered movement on ball enough to solely rely on adaptive shields as her defensive measure. She knows when it’s time to fuck off through experience and game sense

omg don't listen to health pack advice, so wrong it hurts. yes... deny your healers any chance of making a change in the game....stupid advice...health packs aren't even that great, huge misconception. Its loss health gained which isn't usually worth the time or leaving team to go selfishly get. You only really ever want to use them when your only other option is dying, and I'd still rather die then not be able to contribute realistically after getting one. Health packs are very determinal...nothing is free....to the blind eye though YUMMY ...
Well, it's a must to know where the health packs are on Hammond, but I don't always go for them. If you have the time for it you should give your supports some ultcharge. But taking the strategic once so your enemy can't is a viable thing to do on Hammond.

Difference from your team to the other. It could be diff of healing or dps for exemple.
What do i do when they are always together with constant heals?
Just try to disrupt them and pick out the easier healer to kill. It can be pretty difficult though

I main ball. I started playing ow2 in December (2022) and I knew ball was gonna be my main, I can say with like 60 hours on ball there's ways to get your slam without using grapple or getting hight there's certain ways to jump or move and you can get just enough hight.
Tbh, Idc if hammond Take the most skill or w.e learning him just isn't worth it when every other hero is better. Even doomfist is better. But I do like the gameplay.

So In a situation like this game when you have dueling widows should your attention be on the supports or killing the snipers? Maybe if the widows winning just let her pop but if they’re pretty back and forth what should be the play

How is she doing those instant piledrivers without the height requirement?
Shes stepping of a platform slightly so she technically gets the height requirement and the forward motion of the piledrivers moves her back on the platform

You also get more spread with your mines if you do it while in the air
