Your video is really good there some parts that are a bit hard to follow but its beacuse of the game cutscene not the editing bits it's still really good

Ironic is after 3 years i find out i ' as hideyushi kill his father ' witness her mother suicide when last thing her father said was to save her .give a power to dick man hideyushi ver 2 (tokichiro ) dude pragnant her when she hated him and than i kill tokichiro and left her alone and powerless ...so i destroy her life .oda and rest was innocent

i love how the devs made nioh 2 the prequel, back to back story with this one, and a sequel all at the same time.
2 things.
1. I love how Nioh 2 is arguably a love letter to Nioh 1, with how it handles just about everything in the past, that leads up to Williams quest.
2. Its really interesting how they talk about Nobunaga throughout the game, giving him this grander than life symbolism, only for him to walk out of the fight, proclaiming that he bows to now man. Normally i would be pissed at that, but its handled so well, you actually want him to tell Kelly to fuck off.
I knew naught of Japanese history before delving into this game and hence found the first half very confusing, but I was so gripped by it that I found myself reading the works of Yoshikawa, in particular "Taiko". Now it's extremely satisfying to go back to the earlier cutscenes and have an idea of who all of these people are!

I kinda had a feeling this game having fun subtly mocking people who put both Ieyasu and Nobunaga at the extreme sides of morality as seen on most animangames. Ieyasu wants to maintain peace, yes, but he's not a shounen manga all loving hero media made him to be. He is willing to sacrifice people , even his own family, for the sake of maintaining peace. Same with Nobunaga who was made into pure evil demon lord almost all the time. He's not evil big bad wanting to be demon for the sake of insulting and stomping humanity, nor did he kill for the lulz. If anything, Nobunaga is more like neutral path SMT protagonist. Because he insults deities, doesn't mean he wants to be the extreme opposite of the deities (which is demons), no, he's more about bringing the full potential of people while maintaining their humanity/mortality. He's a practitioner of meritocracy, not anarchy.
You're not wrong. If anything, Tokugawa was a traditionalist and Nobunaga was a progressive. Tokugawa saw "inheritance/lineage" as a precedent to standing, whereas Nobunaga valued ability over either. Both were ruthless, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a casual Japanese who doesn't have a rose-tinted view of the Tokugawa government and sees Nobunaga as a monster to end all monsters. Personally, I'd side with Nobunaga, because for him, it didn't matter if you were a poor man or a noble; your worth in his eyes was with how much you could accomplish, not by your blood.
Maybe they are going with historical accuracy?
I like finding people who can see what actually were Nobunaga and Ieyasu. While I understand what are the legacy of the Tokugawa, I personally am not fond at all of Ieyasu (partly because I'm a Sanada Yukimura's fan, I admit it), especially because how he played dirty to make Osaka's Siege happen. On the other hand, I find Nobunaga as a visionary, perhaps too advanced for his era. While he wasn't exactly a people person, I wouldn't mind serve him well if I could.
I come from the future! You might be pleasantly surprised to know that Nioh 2 begins way in the past, relative to the first game, and is about Hideyoshi as he came to prominence under Nobunaga, taking the time to develop his character as well as Yasuke's and Honda Tadakatsu's along the way.

I played Nioh main game twice but not the dlc, after finishing Nioh 2 I felt I needed to watch a playthrough of the dlc from Nioh, now I know who that Spanish woman is.

He was a real person that came to japan and became the first foreign samurai but he never when back to England because he was forbidden to ever leave the island so he stayed in japan until he died

I like how when Nobunaga says "Now the monkey and tanuki follow the trail I blaze" refers to both Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 characters.
The monkey was Tokichiro but who was the tanuki?

@@zarc1145 Which makes sense, because Ieyasu has the biggest balls challenging Hideyoshi during his monumental rise as the second great unifier of Japan. One of the dead soldier's thoughts you can hear when taking their amrita is how stubborn Ieyasu is being still fighting against Hideyoshi when he had "already won".

They probably wanted to conclude that but Okatsu's voice actor Takei Emi got pregnant and retired.

@@snowfellwolf8280 I guess you could technically say it's a sequel, but it's a sequel pretty much only by technicality, as it doesn't build on any of Nioh's DLCs or the finale besides the french woman.
Here after beating Nioh again, but I didn't change the cutscene settings back on until Joro Gumo

well, Hedeyoshi invaded Korea in order to attack china but in the game he has a dream of a world base on righteousness, without swords :|. Ieyashu also dream of a peace world but he raised an army to against other regents instead of keep on supporting his young lord. Well, the plot are pain in my ass.
But that's actually quite true. Hideyoshi did really wanted that kind of world. He even forbid commoners to have a sword, and indeed, Japan had peace for over a decade. If he hadn't desired conquest Korea and later China for the sake of leave a greater name in the world (he sadly couldn't be shogun because of his modest origins), perhaps Toyotomi era would have last longer. On the other hand, Ieyasu had no necessity to start Osaka's siege, it was their delusions of what make him accuse Hideyori because of supposed complot (actually it was a quite strange incident with a bell), so I don't think he wasn't so saint as traditional history paints him.

It’s weird to me that hanzo thought he could just kill William. I know his guard was down and all but still this is the man who’s torn through more demons than hairs on his head. But he is a ninja so maybe he could’ve found a way

After Tokugawa won His Edo regime lasted until Meiji Restoration(modernize Japan ww1 all that) but i heard it lasted almost 250 years without any civil war

Dude please add some transitions before cutscenes like in boss fight, or exploring scenes. It feels so weird like he was sitting in the cell then 1 sec later he murdered whole castle. Add details not just cutscenes i hope i managed to make my point
Yeah, I had to stop after a while because nothing made sense. One second he's drinking with some random people that we've never seen before then the next he's inside a cave rescuing some guy we've never seen before with a girl we've never met. This isn't a "movie", this is a cutscene compilation. The cutscenes might as well be out of order. I probably wouldn't even notice if that is case.

There is a lot going on in this game and this video does so little to make sense of the story progression and fights thus it only works as a recap for people who played it in all honesty. The oops was a reaction to the creators content, not you lol
At the end of day though, buying and supporting the developer goes a long way to ensure we continue to see releases like this.
