So here we go. At the time I got this sorted out the Casiano/duping stuff was completely unknown to me (and to The Herald). The expose was after I had already sent the infusions to The Herald and the video was probably already made/near completion by the time the story broke, so there is absolutely no endorsement of duping or any such practice in the video. To criticise the Herald for this is completely unfair, all the infusions were returned to me before the Casiano situation and I then returned them fully to their original source. Casiano has always been a big supporter of various community endeavours; donating a massive amount of gold and rare items to tournaments (200k+! I guess we know how he was able to be so generous now lol) so I went to him because he'd helped out before and I considered him trustworthy (He actually did a very similar video with Mukluk too). Either way, the video is fun and all the infusions have been wiped from the game at this point so just enjoy the glory of witnessing some of the very few infusions to actually have been full on PURGED, it's not often you see 60000 gold vanish into thin air. Unless you like to ecto gamble that is....
As always Miss @Krytan Herald we could hear you read a phonebook :). Loved all of these considering we may never be able to get more then one or two of them.... really was a fun watch. Thanks for the upload, sorry the video was a longer project for you but life can get in the way sometimes :).
I'm not all that keen on most armors, weapons etc with a lot of particle effects .. _but_ the frost legion infusion looks amazing. I wouldn't use it myself, but I'll happily enjoy it from afar.
honestly, I think the ghostly infusion is still one of the best looking, even tho the least rarest one. Wish they had different colors of that ghost infusion
I can confirm from experience that Visage of the Kahn-Ur can also drop from the wvw/pvp reward track (nonrepeatable), so I'm assuming that the infusion can drop there too. Took the cash from that and invested it into black lion weapon skins. Sold them all many months later and got myself a Crystal Infusion, and I've never been more happy with a purchase. Also just wanted to mention that I'm in full support of you in light of the situation. Keep up the good work!!
Well im glad you were able to make your video right before that asshat was exposed. Very good stuff. But but the Tekkit video on dropping chak was a troll it was an april fools video XD
I was really in love with Peerless Infusion and it was the first expensive thing I bought on TP. I cannot remember how much it was when I bought it but wayyy more than 210g for sure. That's said after crafting legendary trinkets, I found that the Peerless Infusion's effect is too much combined with the trinkets. I like the circle effect around the character model but the effect inside is way too noisy for me, so I just extract it out and sell it on tp lol

Thanks for the support. I have many characters on my account and I do change the hair style and colour of my characters to match the look I am showing. I have a few free character slots too, so I can spin up a new avatar when needed. It's a lot of faff but I think it's worth it.

Also there are 2 bauble infusions (currently red and blue versions) that can be earned through weapon collections in the super adventure box. And they are FREE if you can complete the tribulation/hard mode :) I have the red one, going for blue next in world 2. Frost legion makes chak brighter if you have both

Man I wish someone could showcased all infusions like this but with a norn wearing heavy armor. GW2 doesn't have a preview for infusions and I am not too keen on wasting gold.
You can always resell the infusions. They are not bound to your character or account. You can wear it and then resell it later. The GW2 Wiki should have all the photos and information needed as well.

I got a chak infusion by drop yesterday. It was the 6th time I do the chak meta lol. I never do infusion meta trains but some of my clan mates proposed to do it and I was like... Whatever, I'm bored so I'm in. Best decision of my life 😂. I'm about to sell it and buy 4 legendary weapons.

But just taking a step back for a moment, can you understand the cruel irony of a *showcase* video of infusions that were hacked into existence? Reading to us about where and how we can drop them, whilst the infusions you wear were not dropped or bought at all. It's just... I know you wanted to make this video for a long time, and if it had been posted a week ago, I would have loved it. But the simple fact is that we *all* have access to the information now, entirely regardless of how much we know about the market. And in light of that information, obviously, the right thing to do would have been to take the time to arrange loans from literally any other player in the game.

MightyTeapot, Enko, Casiano know how to dublicate items in the guild hall. Just ask them how it works and you will get rich too :) If you would have played 12 hrs a day since guild wars 2 exist and you would make an enormous 50 gold per hr, you would have 1,7 mio gold (the legit way).
Am i the only one that find these extremely redundant? In the end they're just shaders, some with particle effects, thats it. Imo they ruin the skin of your character removing details, but maybe it's just me.
I watch WP and catch some streams but honestly I do not have a great deal of time to watch many other creators. I know there are other infusion videos out there but I hoped doing 12 in one showcase would stand out.

To be clear - I had no idea about duping in the game, no I do not keep up with reddit or the forums much. Im a casual player and outside big releases I do not follow gw2 community news. The video was made before this shitshow kicked off. I had no idea about issues around old grimm. I had not heard of him before being given his name to credit in the video. I did not arrange the infusion transfers, that was done by mightyteapot in good faith. He did not know of Old Grimms actions eithers. Teapot sent me the infusions and once I had captured the footage for the guide I returned them to him. I make clear in the guide these are not my infusion, I share only in game moral ways of gaining these infusions and I am in no way promoting cheating or duping.

I did not work with a cheater! A friend said they could help me with loaning infusions. I had no idea that dups were even possible in game let alone that I was being handed them. I returned all the infusions after I had captured. It is profoundly unfair to jump to conclusions. I have never even spoken to /contacted the person who has been banned. Both I and my friend had no clue about this person's scamming.
