Lovely video thank you for sharing with everybody in the farming industry then little triplets oh my board get that cholesterol in and they will be sound as a pound😊
Impressed with the calves they all look strong and healthy and should market well. I know nothing about lambs but it struck me as sad the young lad didn't make it. That's farming though. Great content thanks from NC
I enjoy your videos,l am jealous of your nice new shed lovely calves you should have a good trade as store cattle prices are flying. From past experience you are best not give any mouldy silage to your sheep Listeriosis is horrible.Good luck with your lambing.
A nice bucket of warm water and a bit of glucose is good to perk up the mother fill up her belly .I always give it to the cows . Hope there doing OK. Sorry to here about your mom passing hard and tough time . The landing will keep your mind besy.
Lovely video, calves looking good so should sell well, not ideal quads to start lambing with but lets hope you can find the remaining triplets new mums.
Great video. What did davie scan her with!!!! They look a little before there time. Can't wait to see the new shed set up for lambing. Great looking bunch of cattle. Chin up til the next one 🫂
the day to day husbandry losses are always oddly distorting after family losses in a twisting-rag way, don't worry if it doesn't feel normal/usually like losing stock used to for a while, there's a fatigue and the coping hits these little losses like a paver simply covering over a phone dropped in the cement.
Hello, I just found out that you also deal with sheep not only with cows! I also deal with sheep, I also have sheep that give birth to 2 to 5 lambs, this breed of sheep is called Romanovskaya, they are smaller than yours but more active. And my main breed is the sheep that reap the lambs is a mixed breed with Merino and Edilbay 87% Edilbay 13% Merino these hybrid 1000 ewes give birth to 1300 lambs I inseminate them with Dorper, Katahdin and Texel rams I was able to buy these breeds at an affordable price Dorper rams with a black head for 600 US dollars White Katahdin $200 each Brown Katahdin $300 each Texel $300 each. I also artificially seed the breeds Charolais, Dorset, White Dorper, Safolk for 1 seed I pay $12.

I find that with multiples males are always the weaker.
Forearmed is Forewarned 👍
Wow quads unreal how resilient sheep are ! How rare is that ?
We usually get a few sets in our commercial flock of scotch mules but not as common in pure Texels 😊
That's the sad part
what cattle you have?
