The picture of the doe is a little misleading. That blood on her isn’t from an exit. Shot was a little back so it got liver with the angle and lodged in the body cavity. Just a she got pretty nasty getting her out of the brush top so that I didn’t get limited revenue for too much blood and such, I decided to go black and white picture and it just didn’t show up.
Great job on the filming Don !! I heard that barred owl I thought it was spring gobbler season !! Sounded good ! Congrats on the bow kill and great video !!👍🏼😊
That is a Mathews Featherlite. It was made around 1999 or 2000. Shooting 62 lbs of draw weight. I’ve been shooting it for years and had new cables put on it two years ago. Shoots as good as ever. Id like one of the new high dollar Mathews but like the saying goes, if ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Good for Don..public land too!
And it’s some good Public Land if you’re willing to work for it lol
@@RaisedOutdoors well Glen you know how I roll when I leave the farm and head south to GA in the swamps....it's coming again and soon soldier!

Good eye. She spun when I shot so that rage caught a little liver too. But Glens correct. It had been a couple of hours and was drying
Congrats on your harvest!
He put in work this year for that one
Thanks!
Nice hunt Don. Glad you were able to get her.

Thankyou. That owl was in a dead tree on the backside of that blowdown. Those squirrels were nervous. Lol
Congrats on another awesome harvest!!!
It’s been a grind this year, but we’ve been blessed
Thanks. Meat in the freezer. 😊
Curious on what bow you got. I still have my MQ32 I got back in 99. That looks like that older camo pattern.
I appreciate you watching, I’m sure Don will read through the comments and have that answer for you

I did a little research and found out my bow was made in 1996, so it is 27 years old and still getting the job done
White County?
Arkansas
Arkansas county. I used to hunt northern Prairie county along the White. Good deer in that area
