Alex is one of those people that are just "difficult" as Aceman talks about.
Alex didnt make me want to view his stand-up. Carolla was joking around and doing his thing, and Captain Save a Hoe Alex was bland. He added nothing funny or insightful to the conversation.

Adam's standup is funny but it feels awkward. I'm guessing he's still trying to get his legs under him with his standup. Compared to solo performers who've done it from day one, Adam's start was with a comedy group with very few solos.
