"I feel that this is not a practical timepiece". Okay - some history (which you should have researched). VC at a horology symposium in the early 2000's in Europe was communicating to several collectors in attendance that they are interested in working on custom one-off bespoke designs. One collector approached VC and gave an idea of what he wanted and specified a minimum of 36 complications, 19-year perpetual calendar, and a whole host of additional functions that tie in directly to the Hebrew Calendar. Current value estimated at $18,000,000.00 (US). No, you cannot order one as it is not a production watch. Eight years to design and manufacture by hand.
Thirty-two minutes of someone reading the manual off the website. No interviews with the manufacturer, the owner, or actual horologists to provide commentary. Nothing to see here folks. Do some better homework next time.
I made this video simply because I found this timepiece interesting, and thought that some other people might find it interesting as well. I will admit, going back and watching this video, I wish it had turned out a bit better. I would have loved to interview the maker or the owner, but I simply don’t have the resources to do that. I would have done more research, but I just don’t have the time to do so. I may at some point remake this video in a more polished fashion.
damn, the website of 57260 is not working, just when I discovered this watch...

I did not know this, but I do have plans on remaking this video at some point, so I will be sure to mention that.
