@@LiarGameSecretariat when viper picks up bounty runes, he says "Mine". Also viper has wings so it doesnt make sense for a winged creature to get stuck on a cliff so its the author's way of making it logical to get stuck

if Disruptor has a force staff he should've used that to get out of the cliff in the beginning. (if the plot was that they're idiots, then he can't perfectly force staff rubick in a cliff)
