The guy on the cart that Arya was talking to and Bridget was like, "he looks familiar": the actor plays the Russian guy on Stranger Things. I forgot his name, but he was the prison gaurd who was helping Hopper get in touch with Joyce.

The Maester drank the poison to show Melisandre that it was not poisoned, even though it was. He knew it would kill him, but made the sacrifice thinking she would die as well.
Also he was saving Stannis from having to execute him for her murder.

The guy who ended up poisoning himself drank the poisoned wine himself first, in an attempt to convince Melisandre to feel safe to drink it herself - after all, the guy now toasting her had just been openly critical of her, so him offering her a a toast and cup to drink would be beyond suspicious.
He cared about his cause enough to sacrifice his own life to take out Melisandre. Only it didn't quite work out that way, as we saw...
That guy that looked familiar to Bridgette was Enzo in Stranger Things. I commented that he's my Game of Thrones boyfriend, so I'm happy you got to him being in the show! It's still gonna be awhile before I can say who my favorite character is. But I wait excitedly!
Melisandre you could say has an immunity to poison which is why she drank the drink even knowing what it was poisoned. Thanks to the Lord of Light, she has some magical abilities. So a "witch" isn't too far off

Melisandre is another one of those characters that will have a very interesting story arc, not always smooth and pretty, but surely crucial.

The show doesn't really go into it too much, but Joffrey isn't yet of age to assume full power as king. Cersei made herself his Regent, which essentially means she rules in his name.

Meistre Cressen was willing to die if that meant Melisandre dying too. So he drank the poison hoping she wouldn't suspect, but she's a Red Priest and her God protected her from the poison effects. The blood coming out from Cressen's mouth is because of the poison.

the thing is.. the way it was done in tv show was kinda stupid, because in books Maester Cressen drank form the challice as a second, from what little was left at the bottom.. because Melisandre knew it was poisoned, she just wanted to f*ck the old man and let him die. and Cressen knew that he's lost. if he didn't drink, he'd die anyway as if he killed her. on the other hand, here he drank first, revealing it's poisoned and if Melisandre couldn't survive, she'd simply not drink as she's seen the blood from his nose
