    i agree i like limping in alot of live dynamics from EP since you face so many cold calls. an alternative is to open raise like 7x and play pretty tight. its much more boring to play the massive rfi size and play super tight, but think its pretty good in some dynamics, especially if table isnt raising alot preflop. just another way to get the pots more HU or 3-way more often

      @@IIIiiIIiIiIi-h6h it always depends on the situation. But given the spr in this spot it's better to take money to the air region.
      If you play at lower spr im ok to bet but in average people under call Kx Qx and Ax boards and the region you win money against often bet from itself

    By using a huge squeezing size, would it be too easy trap by the caller (AA/KK)) or 4bet jam by the initial raiser (with JJ+ and AK). Losing more blinds when we are squeezing with medium hand like (KQs KJs A5s AJs AQo ATs KTs) and fold to jam each time. Unless we only squeeze with the huge size with linear range like QQ+ and AK.

    Hi Yolan, thank you for the video. I have a question about the bigger squeeze and 3bet sizing. In most casinos near me the buy in structure to 2/3 capped at 300-500. If someone open and there are 2 limper behind with the bigger squeeze size I would be committing around 30+%of my stack pre flop. What adjustments should I be making without the spr awkward? Thank you so much!

    Salut Yolan,

    1.Open size 4bb+ not gto raising size like 2.5 3
    2.If you have not good in multiway hands like AQo AJs, you can limp in EP.
    3.bet bigger if many limper in your pot.
    4.bet bigger in SB,BB 88+, AQ+
    (Mix AJs?)
    5.squeeze and good flop to open raiser, we can check. Like K high A high board even if flush draw there.

    Hi yolan. I watched all your videos from the beginning of your UA-cam channel. It was very helpful. These days, I play offline poker. There is a spot that I have the most difficulty with here, so I want to ask you a question. It's when you squeeze into AK AQ or something in small blinds or big blinds. Like in the beginning of this video, I just call AQ or AK also limp. I know that if a lot of people have limp or flat, my AQ AK is strong. But doing a lot of limp and flat means it's a calling station, and it doesn't die from my strong raise. Then, flop without A and K will inevitably increase my bluff rate, right?
    So without pre-flop FOLD EQUITY, AK AQ I just calls from OOP 6WAY. What do you think?
    I think it's okay to call if it's limpers who don't fold even if they raise big, is it wrong at all?
    To recap, is it good to grow pots in pre-flop oops with ak aq 1010 a table with 6 limp people, where everyone with low fold equity.
    Think of a table where you've had the worst people in your whole life.

      @@IIIiiIIiIiIi-h6h hey mate, glad you enjoy the video !
      It's better to SQZ AQ AK , if you get called a lot, you're going to win more money with these hands, even if the variance will increase

    The KQo sb sq to $150 you mentioned it should be $180 minimum. I disagree mainly bc you have a short stacked whale in the CO that cc and $162 or less can reopen if he jams. Think I like the threat of that vs the live pro personally. As an exploit I like going bigger with nutted hands so the live pro doesn't have to worry about the action reopening and leaving the threat of action being open with weaker hands like KQo.

    • @YolanCohenPoker
      @YolanCohenPoker  4 місяці тому

      Didnt see that, I think the whale is close to never going to reraise anyway due to the action pre. So it's quite close. But in general without considering this yeah bigger sizes are by far the best

  • @hansari8697
    @hansari8697 4 місяці тому

    KQs hand at 32:00. I don't think it is so black and white as now you got check raised you are behind. In live poker it is all about adjusting to your opponent. There are a large % of players that always have 55, 44, A3ss or 67ss here and vs them it is probably good to just fold flop. Then others are way over bluffing raising any gutter, FD and alot of other crap trying to squeeze bc it looks like LP would cbet this board often and SB has a lot of mid pairs that cannot continue. My point is this spot is all about your read on your opponent.

    • @YolanCohenPoker
      @YolanCohenPoker  4 місяці тому

      Agree, but still without any reads we need to decide considering how our ev is distributed among each scenario.
      There is a decent % of the pool who dont have value as their value hands mainly bet with sb here.
      So im ok calling + we have the rebluff potential.
      Think im folding if there is no fd.

    IMO the blinds are irrelevant. If the standard open everyone at a 1/2 table is using is $10 and the average stack is $300 I am viewing this as a 75bb 2/4 basically. I play in 1/3 game where the average stack is $1k and people open anywhere from $15-$25. Basically playing a deep $3/6 game. Stealing blinds isn't what is incentivizing players to open wider it is the 5 weaker players at the table. I would say that is the case in most live games atleast in America.
