It’s been AWESOME for me as a first year serious gardener! It’s been as educational as it has been great at keeping me organized. I have you to thank for introducing me!!
I think Seedtime has the best calander. I like being able too see what tasks I need to get done. What I like about GrowVeg is at this point of time the layout is superior. I like how I can plan my SFG Garden in Grow Veg. GrowVeg is also half the price.
Thank you for your great explanation of how Seed time works. I also am very glad you mentioned Grow Veg. I've been a laid-back veggie gardener for a few years but decided this year to add more veggies. But I've been conflicted on which veggies grow with which!! I hope Grow Veg will help me be a savvier gardener. Thanks again!
Me and my girlfriend just got finished cataloging all of our seeds and scheduling them. This tool could be a game changer, especially for new and market gardeners. Thank you for sharing, great video!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I started using seedtime a couple days ago was a little confused but you managed to clear everything up. Thank you again.
@From the Roots Up I started planning in the fall last year, and I prepared 2 new garden beds. I am excited to harvest my first asparagus and to plant Brussels Sprouts for the first time this year.
Awesome and Very Informative video!, Thank you for sharing. I have been looking for a gardening program and boom your video popped up lol I am going to love the auto information input of my veggies..and it's printable!!!
Neat tool. Would you he able to share how you take a seedling and transplant outside? I can grow a seed up to 2 weeks, then I kill it. Thank you in advance, Laura
Do you harden your seedlings off before taking them outside? Start by taking them out just 1 hour the first day, then 2 hours the second, and so on until they are out for the the full sunlight cycle. This gets them used to the strong sun, wind, and other elements. If you do this already, my other thought would be to mix some of your native soil into the seed starting mix to inoculate the seedlings to your specific micro biome. I hope this is helpful! I’ll be sure to address it in a video when it’s time to bring mine out!
If you just slide things around on the calendar I believe it will change the dates of all of the tasks automatically. I’m so late on everything this year!
This thing is such a scam. It marketed to me so heavily, stressing it was free, etc. I gave it a shot, gave them my information. It only lets you calendar one plant for free. If you want to schedule 2-10 plants, that's ten dollars plus a month. I'll just use a regular calendar.
GIRL! You need to update this video. Just got done watching the 5 days of the winter garden challenge. You did a GREAT job on this video.
Yes! I know! So many new features since I put this out a while back!

HI Kristy 👋 Garden planning is my favorite kind of planning. 🤓
Mine too!!! Have you started yet? What are you excited to plant this year?

I am so glad you found it helpful! It really has made garden planning so much easier this year I just had to share!
Thank you.....I'll try it!
Does this go into companion planting or garden planning?
Is there somewhere in the app or on the website that explains each of the tasks?
There is a help button that has a ton of video explanations and instructions for the different tasks and parts of the website
I want to know how the program works and is there a video for it?

Kristy.....what if your late startign everything and you need to change the dates of when you plant? Confusing question I know.
If you just slide things around on the calendar I believe it will change the dates of all of the tasks automatically. I’m so late on everything this year!
This looked like an app, but it's a website. Just saying for mobile users because it's harder to navigate than what's being shown
Yes! It’s a website not a phone app, here’s hoping they come out with an accompanying mobile app sometime, that would be fantastic!
OKI was trying to download it on my Phone. And I need to go to my computer

Even though the free version gives you just one calendar, you can add as many plants as you want to that calendar for free.
@@FromtheRootsUp I have not had this experience. I added onions and it would not let add more plants.
