Sir which one is more functional normal circulatory system or portal system? And where the portal system is present in the body besides this region which U explain in lecture.
Both systems are present within the body and both are equally functional...Portal system is present in liver also which is called hepatic portal system... To know exactly about portal system you can consult my video ua-cam.com/video/7OUERDFyS2Q/v-deo.html
Sir when hypothalamus cell like arcuate secretes Growth releasing harmones then enter to the hypothalamo-hypophyseal portal and then to somatotropes and LT this entered by which phenomena ? By action potential or simple diffusion or other's.
The transport of Releasing hormone from Arcuate Nucleus occurs by simple diffusion mechanism and it follow the route from NUCLEUS to the MEDIAN EMINENCE.... Then from MEDIAN EMINENCE to Superior Plexus then to portal vein, then to inferior plexus and finally reaches the LACTOTROPES
Thank you. Sir
