Hi Joan, Thank you so much for all of your "How to" videos. I watched all of them today. You are a fantastic resource for diamond painting. I'm new to the craft and watching your videos has given me a jumping on the Management of Diamond Painting. I never would have considered a Journal for Diamond Painting until sometime in the future when receiving a diamond painting, "Didn't I buy this I buy this one already?" or "I wonder how many paintings I've done" or "How much have I spent on all of these paintings?" etc. Of course, then, I'd have difficulty reconstructing the past and I'd never know much time I spent on actually doing my paintings. I also like the idea if making a Diamond Painting Album like a photo album. Although I may really like a painting or enjoy doing it, they aren't necessarily something I'd want to hang on the walls. Instead, I can create a "coffee table album of my paintings. So, thank you for all of your info.
Perhaps, I can offer you and others diamond painters a suggestion on resizing pictures of the downloaded pictures. I've use this method for 30+ yrs when embedding photos into various documents over the yrs. Most recently, I've done this to embed pictures of food for recipes.
In reality you don't need to download the picture file. You can just " Copy" the picture from within your browser.. Then you can "Paste" it into a MS Word of Excel document. From there, you can grab (click & hold) a corner of the pic and resize the picture, making it smaller or larger. Let go of the mouse button when the size is right. You can do this multiple times, if necessary.
Another thing, when the "download" option isn't available when you Right-click, it's usually because that function was disable on the originator's website. Most often, the function, "Open in new tab" is still available. If you click on "Open in new tab" it usually breaks that website restriction because you're no longer viewing that picture within that website. So, when you go to the new tab where the picture is located, the download function is usually there. I say "usually" because, every once in a while, it isn't. I'm not sure it it's because the browser retains the originators restriction of if the Downlad function is associated with the picture file. In this case click on "Open in new tab" a 2nd time. This has always broken that association and I've been able to do the Download the picture for me.
As I mentioned, I've used this method for many yrs, before the "snip-it" function became a part of MS's Browser. I've used many browsers over the years. This method has worked regardless of what browser I've used. The one thing where the "snip-it" function have proven invaluable, to me, is where it will copy a webpage that covers more one screen. It's definitely a very handy browser tool.
I hope you find my info beneficial as I've found yours.

I'm glad the how to videos have been helpful. Thanks for the tips on how to save the pictures. If I ever get stuck trying to get a picture, I will try some of them out.

The labels that come with the kit are stickers - slightly thicker paper, but still removable labels.

This is one of the older sets and I had problems previously with them not being removable. I think the ones that are cut up are more removable.

Hi Joan! I love to listen/watch your videos as I diamond paint, and you have shown me so many things! I am a newbie and I am going to convert a cross stitch chart in the near future and I will need to re-watch some of your videos on this topic. I want to comment on the static drills. I have purchased 3 Dreamer Designs kits but I haven’t started or kitted those yet. I am so hoping that I don’t run into a similar situation. Have you previously experienced static with their kits? Or does that happens with all designers? I have done a couple of Diamond Art Club kits and did have a few static colors in one of them. Thank you so much for sharing!

Welcome to the diamond painting community! The static is not unique to Dreamer Designs. I thin a lot of it has to do with how little humidity it is where you are and when the drills were packed.

Algorithm is being mean to you. I haven't gotten alerts from your channel in a while and I had to go hunt for this post by going direct to your page. You don't show up in my feed anymore.

I wonder if it is because I've been posting less often. Anyways, thanks for looking for my videos anyways!
