World building is the thing I like the most about novels (apart from character development ofcrs), but it's what I struggle with the most aswell. Thanks for video, Ana!!!
I first found worldbuilding hard to write, because there is so much to think about. now I'm detailing the world of nightwalkers, just like the lore of the howling wind and the SKU - sea. or the extinct languages people from different counties use. I started to love worldbuilding even more.
this helped me SO MUCH! I'm so awful at world building, but i can pump out an entire cast of characters in an hour. world building has always seemed so daunting to me but this made it seem so simple!!! tysm for this
that was so helpful and fun!! i looove worldbuilding and getting to know other worlds. maybe you could do a "i read your books" sort of thing with "i get to know your fantasy worlds" ! i think that would be really interesting

Hands down I'm so thankful for this video. I've been working on a story since 2019 and I really liked it but I never came further than the character design and main plot. And over the years I rarely had the motivation to work on it (Even tho I really loved the story and its characters) but I only finished the main plotline last year and now I overworked it but I was never really satisfied, so I decided to dive deeper and actually make a worldbuiliding and after this video I felt more motivated than ever to start on it. I just started adding this (don't waste your time if it isn't important in your novel) but I added currency because in my plot there is a kingdom and the main characters buy a lot of stuff so I just added if the currency was strong or weak. And success, money and fame or important aspects of my story.

Thank you for this, this is something I totally struggle with. Even the idea of building a world is daunting to me. However, I decided to be brave and write a book that requires me to build a new world. I'm currently working on a book about ancient witches that were wiped out (except one). They lived in a female only society that is now under siege by the enemy. So I'm so excited to build this world now!! ❤️🌍

that sounds awesome! i encourage you to!! I edit using premier pro but you can use imovie too! don’t stress about editing or making cool intros. id encourage you to just post what you want and what makes you happy ;)
