After a long wait, it's finally here. The most luck-based challenge in FNaF history...isn't that luck-based? Well, it is, but it's still easily beatable for a good player who knows what to do. In this video, I explain the strategies and fundamentals that I applied to possibly become the best 10/20 player in the world.
Keep in mind that this is the result of dozens of hours of practice and theorycrafting. This guide will help you understand 10/20 better, but it may still take you many hours to complete it. The odds may not be in your favor for a while, or you may need to practice more. If you mess up at all, you can easily die even on the perfect run. You have to become a great FNaF 2 player first. This guide is designed to speed that process up, not allow you to achieve it instantly.

"Golden Freddy" mode should be called "Toy Bonnie" mode, since Golden Freddy barely does anything but Toy Bonnie is an absolute pain in the a** to deal with on this mode.

yeah even if I flash the hall and the other animatronics are there, I don't see foxy but when I close my camera he jumpscares me so relatable
@@dryward312 Just because you see other animatronics in the hall doesn't mean Foxy is not there. Always flash the hallway like if Foxy was there.

just another piece of advice I have: when an animatronic like toy bonnie is set to 20, he will always move at 5 second intervals. Take that into account for this mode, because it will save time for the music box and Foxy. This means that if you get an attack from toy bonnie, then that means that when he leaves you will not have to check the right vent (unless of course there are no office animatronics) for a couple of winds. This barely saves a second but that second it saves is valuable. The mode is still very much luck and it will still be hard, but this tip is useful to know.

Finally, after hours and days of trying, I FINALLY HAVE BEATEN THIS, thanks to your tips. It wasn't easy, RNG fucked me up multiple times, but I finally got a clean run, the Puppet didn't even leave it's box. Thank you so freakin much man!!😁

i was a ex cs:go awper (to be a awper you need REALLY good reactions), ot was way easier for me to get kills by predictions, the same thing can happen here, he can predict the animatronics arrival and do the appropriate action, mask, ceamra, etc

I'm pretty scared because Level 20 Foxy is brutal, so having to deal with the other Animatronics on top of that ! This strategy is good, I'm sure it'll save me many hours ^^

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I’m overjoyed! At one attempt I died 6 seconds before beating the level, but by Withered Bonnie, if I wasn’t clumsy then I would’ve definitely beat it. Within the timespan of 30 minutes I finally completed it. I think it is definitive proof that you can win FNaF 2 10/20 mode within an hour.

If you think about it, the animatronics have a really good strategy of killing you. Toy Bonnie distracts you. foxy constantly lingers in the hall, and everyone else causes complete chaos. This mode feels like an organized plan by the animatronics lmao
Hey I haven’t personally played any of the games but I find these games intriguing and thus watched the guide. I know this is an old video but I just want to say that all of these were very comprehensive and I could see them helping anyone playing, especially the emphasis of good habits all the way from night 1.
Trust me, when you play alot itl be more fun than scary you should buy the game

After giving up on this challenge years ago, I decided to come back to it today. Played for bout half an hour refamiliarizing myself, then I looked up this video since I've heard a lot of good things about Ambience. I couldn't believe it, but my first run after watching this guide, I beat 10/20 mode after all these years! Granted, I got really lucky with Toy Bonnie being nice to me. I tried a few more attempts to see if I could beat it again but failed. Alas, one time is good enough for me. This guide was really helpful, and I think doing these runs with a cooler mindset really helps. Don't be afraid and don't panic. You must be smart with the music box and learn how much time you have with Foxy. The only one who's really a problem is Toy Bonnie, sometimes you gotta accept defeat and try again, even if it's not your fault. Also if the music box is running out because of Toy Bonnie being slow, do not give up until the very last second when you hear the jingle. Sometimes you'll have more time than you might think. Just keep at it and you'll get it eventually, and take breaks if you need to.
Ambience, if you're reading this, thank you very much. This was a fun experience... Perhaps I'll try sister location prepatch next, I've heard that one's a doozy.

Besides every amazing tip that ambience has said, i want to add a couple more:
- First: *LISTEN TO HIM*
I kid you not, the 0.75 trick, the foxy and puppet strategy, the toy Bonnie rng, everything this dude say it's true.
I've tested out myself, and it worked.
- count in loud voice.
Even if it seems weird, there's no room for error, specially for Toy Bonnie, or for flashing foxy or trying to prevent the puppet from leaving.
Also, when there's not blackout and toy chica or Bb are in the left vent, not counting right will get you killed.
- Don't get greedy with the music box.
If there aren't anymatronics in the office or the vents, that doesn't mean you can play greedy with the music box. Foxy will still be active, and anyone at anytime can suprise you.
- Be patient.
You're not gonna beat this at the first try, you're human. You'll make mistakes, you'll be nervous, you'll be anxious for nothing to happen.
You'll be anxious whenever you're "out of phase", whenever you're not in your "comfort" zone.
For example, when Toy Bonnie appears, or when you pull down the monitor and there isn't a black out.
You'll make mistakes, just admit it.
You don't have to post it online or something, but keep them in mind for next tries.
Also, take a moment to analize what you've done, sometimes it was rng, sometimes it was your fault and that's ok, this is a very hard night.
Now, for wimpy people like me:
- Hear to the sounds. Even if like me, you cry whenever you see a jumpscare, truste me, you really *really* want to have sound clues.
- Ignore balloon boy laughing. If you try to keep track of it, you'll die. There are many other things you need to focus on.
- Breathe in and out from time to time.
- Learn to be tolerant to frustration.
- Don't play if you're near to sleep, you'll have nightmares.
- Be as fast as you can. Don't hesitate to be fast with putting the mask, checking the vents or the monitor.
- If you think you're close to die, try your ultimate sources. Such as not checking the right vent, or flashing the puppet.
You normally don't wanna do that kind of stuff, but truste me, you'll have to deal with this "out of phase" scenarios al least twice in your night. (And that, with favorable rng).
- Keep trying.
You'll eventually be much more likely to be mad instead of scared from a jumpscare, that means, you've played enough to not be afraid of the anymatronics.
- don't do this inmediatly after night 6.
In order for your skills to develop, you should play all the presets before 10/20 to train your skills enough for this challenge.

Do these tips and strategies work on the switch version of the game? I haven't made it to 5 am once after 10 hours doing nothing but fnaf 2 and rewatching this nothings working there is always something that kills me

I need to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I finally managed to beat 10/20. I wouldn't be able to do it without your help. You didn't mention it in the video but you did mention it to someone in your comments. Basically I had a really bad time with foxy, no matter if I flashed him or not. What you recommended that person to do is instead of flashing, try holding. And oh boy. After 84 tries I decided to try the holding method. I did it first try. Once again I am very thankful. Love you
Really useful information in this, I still think it’s so weird the way you barely even wait after the blackout and you still don’t have to check left vent
It's a really easy way to calculate when the vent animatronics are guaranteed to leave, I just kept trying to push it down further and further after the initial 1 second.
Finally, after 2 days of attempts I finally beat 10/20 mode. And its all beacuse of you. Thanks for the strategy :)

I FINALLY DID IT!!!!! today was my first day attempting this mode after beating 10/10 mode. I spent all day making attempts to win, but it never seem to come. After taking a few breaks, and watching this video, I finally beat it! Thanks again ambience, your a god.

That's not completely terrible for only 30 minutes a day. I played multiple hours a day and it took me nearly a week for my first win.

I beat this for the first time on the OLD mobile version WAY back in the day. The difficult thing in that version is that Toy Bonnie simply takes longer in the vent, rather than doing his little sequence. Mangle doesn't have her radio cue, either. To see that better strategies have been adopted since that completion almost 8 years ago brings a smile to my face.

So I beat this mode for the first time ever last night using right vent strategy, and got incredible RNG. Toy Bonnie actually helped because I knew that after he leaves, every other vent animatronic would leave after .75 seconds, so dealing with them was a breeze. Puppet stalling is crucial and saved my run twice.

After 20 god damn hours I finally got the rng I needed to beat this, THANK YOU for the tips and I’m so glad that toy Bonnie decided to not screw me up like they did in 300 other runs. I’m happy to have this max mode done and I’m confident I can clear the others

Fun Fact: I actually figured out the strat by myself a few days ago, but I tried to do the original version to make my video a little bit more interesting. So I search on UA-cam, I found this and the universe said to me: "Bro, don't make it hard for yourself". XD
Also when I clicked on this video, I do so from the perspective of someone who's beaten this mode 3 times, and I was like "You think you can sum this up in 9 minutes!? I'll see about that..." but you actally did a really solid job of it! Not as thorough as DJ Sterf, but not everyone needs it that in-depth. For anyone who already has the muscle memory down, adding in these tips will get you the win.
DJ and I actually helped each other develop strategies for this mode at one point, so that's funny that you mention that lol. But yep, the goal of my guides is basically to be an abridged, updated version of DJ's videos that also cover more nights and challenges. Awesome guy and I've had a blast every second I've chatted with him, but I just don't know how the man has the patience to make 30+ minute tutorials stretching into hours sometimes. His dedication is impressive but of course it's not for everyone, so these seem to be a bit more accessible to newer players.

I think when a withered animatronic is in the vent and your winding the music box for too long they just kill you straight away without doing the blackout it happened to me

this strategy is really good but you cannot imagine the devastation that went through my entire body when i heard that the music box fully unwinded at 4 AM (thanks toy bonnie, you're a real pal!)
Quick tip, after playing this for 4+ hours, I managed to beat it by changing a problem I had with this strategy, winding 3.5 seconds vs 3 seconds was literally a game changer, 3 seconds is never enough even if toy bonnie is super nice, 3.5 seconds is just right and gives you the best shot (most nights are not winnable still even if you are perfect) and 4 seconds cuts it too close with Foxy, best of luck to whoever is trying 10/20.

What's up Doc? I found your method really helpful and I reached 5AM on 10/20 using it, but unfortunately that pest Toy Bonnie made me lose
Struggling a lot with foxy. Closest I've gotten ever was 5 AM but keep dying mostly to foxy. There's was one instance where I clearly was spam flashing the hallway clear as day. So after I turn up the box and after the blackout I instantly died when it ends.
Probably just bad timing/RNG unfortunately. One tip that DJ Sterf told me a few months back, you may want to try holding the flashlight on Foxy for about 1 second, 1.5 at most, instead of spam flashing him. It uses a bit more battery but tends to stall him out longer, so try that out if you're dying to him a lot. 5 AM is very nice though, good luck!
@@AmbienceOfficial I've gotten to 5 AM before the right vent in the past. I get real worried when the hallway is non flashable so i don't wind as much on the music box. Either the screen is forced away or toy Bonnie appears and before I know it it's too late lol. Sole reason for rapid taps of the flashlight is conservation. 1 to 1.5 seconds should he fine, but then there's the chance of your screen getting taken from you. I've done all the other ultimate challenge nights on 1 3, 4 and sister location but this is heavily relies on the odds being in your favor. Bro please someone tell me how when I was winding up the music box, instead of withered Bonnie making my lights flicker and force my camera down. He just goes straight to jump scaring me. Like this game changes litterly everyday it’s so annoying. And then foxy somehow jumpscared me when toy Freddy is in the hall like what df does the game expect me to do

Hey Ambience, I have really been struggling with 10/20 mode lately. I spent over 10 hours trying to beat it and I still havent had any luck, ive made it to 5 am only twice. I switched to holding flash rather than spamming flash, which seemed to help alot, but no matter how lucky I get, I always seem to die to foxy, even after holding the flash down for a solid 5 seconds. Im stuck, and I dont know what else to do. Do you have any options or strategies to help me? Thanks.
I finally beat 10/20 after a few days and i will say that you need a LOT of rng to beat this night.

Gosh darn it man I’ve got to 4 am few times and 3 am a bunch of times in the span of 2 hours after watching this guide but I still haven’t beat it. I don’t want this game to be in my life for another day.

I watched his completion, but it didn't help me. He uses an outdated strategy and doesn't explain a whole lot. I thought about watching his 2 hour video on strategy dynamics, but got bored quickly.
lemme give you a tip
if you are struggling to count 0.75 seconds after a blackout i will tell you how you can do it more precisely
when a blackout ends it takes somewhere between 1 - 2 seconds for the office to get fully bright again sooo when it gets half bright then you can throw down the mask, works everytime for me (you can also see in his footage how he takes off the mask specifically when the room gets half bright and not fully bright).
This is a good indicator that I never thought about. I just have the rhythm down and go off that. You could also use a stopwatch, but that would require looking away from the screen.

The one thing I dont understand is how many times to flash foxy. I flash him 6-7 times each time very fast (I spam controll) is that enough?
That's more than necessary actually, I usually just do 2-3. Try to do it as soon as you take off the mask and right before raising the monitor, you can do it in between if you feel like it.

I had so many situations where Foxy jumpscares me even though Toy Freddy was in the hallway and I wound up the music box like 9 times
@@FreddyFazbear1985 i think if Toy Freddy, withered Freddy or, Toy Chica are in the hall, then Foxy becomes invisible. (cause there's no image of them together) so if any of them are in the hall it might be good too flash them just in case.
