@@crimsonchaos7224 Yeah the old was simple in how ominous it was. Homelander's logo in blood, with Omni-Man's looming over his in the background symbolizing the one sided nature of the fight. The new one while cool had too much going on.

@@BCCSquidwardYeah this show really made me want to hate almost every Marvel and DC character from a VS standpoint. Like Alien X imagine you can control time and space and you’re fodder to Green Lantern not trying to cause a war here but you get my point.
Oh and there’s Archie Sonic. Imagine being so fast to the point that time being stopped means nothing, having so many cosmic levels fears, all of these abilities and even having fate bend to you and you’re still fodder to Wally West who’s probably gotten more powerful since Wally West Vs Archie Sonic came out.
The way Mjolnir looks in this art style is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I swear you can hear Thor going from treating Vegeta like a joke to giving him a warrior's death, and that Vegeta wouldn't have it any other way.
The guitar and drums are more raw in this version, as the ones in the original felt as if they were more muffled, which took me by massive surprise that immediately made this version SOOO MUCH BETTER!!
As well as the fact that this is one of my favorites to begin with, you made it a lot better. Well done Brandon.
Anthony's always been better at getting things balanced than me haha, writing is my specialty
Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses but those who ask for help and try to do better to improve are going to get a lot more effective and more 🔥 to you for the remixing and cover art

I'm glad you like that! Honestly the guitar tone is Brandon's I just did some stuff to make it sound a bit more gritty, but the drums I took some liberties with!

It makes me sad that along with Roosterteeth, the amazing scores for Death Battle are gone. But on the flipside, it makes me happy that Brandon (and hopefully Therewolf Media) are remaking these sweet tunes. Princes of Pride and Chaos Unraveled were my favorites, and I'm happy that one of them is back. Here's to hoping the other will return soon.

Ah yes, the Death Battle that gave us the wonderful recursive scaling loop of Broly > Hulk > Thor > Vegeta > Broly.
Thor's triumphant shout at the end was indeed a worthy fight for him
And in the end I wouldn't be surprised if Vegeta woke up in Valhalla, and if he does he can just train harder with the other Asgardians there so when Thor pays a visit he'll be ready for round 2

One of the things I love most about this track is the simplicity of the lyrics. There’s not a complex story behind these characters. They are both princes of a warrior race. And they are damn proud to be one. You can just feel the arrogance this track emits which only makes this track even more badass.
This tune is extremely catchy and really full of pride
Two things:
1. I like how this has the fake-out in it.
2. Is it just me, or does this version sound slightly faster? Not in like a Nightcore sense, but like the percussion feels faster.

I like how there’s a war horn playing in the beginning, signifying that two monstrous powers are about to initiate combat
A song so good, he made merch out of it
I am going to say this and none of you can convince me otherwise.
"Thor vs. Vegeta" had NO reason to go as hard as it did. It had every opportunity to be a tired "Superhero vs. Dragonball" fight.
But the crew behind it took all of its concepts and ramped them up to ELEVEN.
-The analysis and accompanying commentary? Solid!
-The actual fight? Great! Plenty of destruction and energy, along with how Thor and Vegeta's egos clashed with each other, and the Fatality was absolutely brutal.
-The voice acting? Absolutely RAW. Jonah Scott returned and showed his portrayal of Thor had vastly improved since "Thor vs. Wonder Woman", and Nick Landis showed he could play Vegeta totally straight, rather than play just his Abridged version, and still nail it.
-But the music...Oh...LORD...THE MUSIC. "Princes of Pride" is a banger in every sense of the word and arguably the best part of the entire episode. Brandon absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one.
I never get tired of watching this Death Battle -- for *ALL* of the reasons that you espouse!

Excusing the excitement and enthusiasm, it is nice to see that another song has been remastered, it is always interesting what the new artwork looks like.

A track with lyrics so good, Brandon released shirts for it. Princes of Pride was such a perfect name for the track and focusing and the focus on warrior's pride was pure poetry. Combined with the spectacular animation and voice acting (especially Lani's epic screams) this was one fight to remember.
Fun Fact:The Forest Where Thor And Vegeta Fought Was Also The Same Forest As Goku Vs Superman (2023).
for now, this fight has lani as the only audio of ultra ego vegeta, and he nails the laugh so well.

I really want to like this one, Princes of Pride is one of my all time favorites. But something about the drastically increased volume on the drums and guitar makes it hard to hear the other instruments just feels odd. That, along with some portions either shortened or strangely proceeding, makes it feel strange to me. For example, the shortened intro, and the sudden jump forward in chord progression at 2:14. I’m not saying it’s bad, I’m probably the odd one out here, I just prefer the original.
I guess pride month isn't over yet.
I like how the background vocals are a lot louder than they were in the original song. It makes the final product feel a lot more viking-like and epic, I love it!
Also, since you said that this week would be full of bangers, I can’t help but feel that something like Hollow Dreams or Hedge of Tomorrow would be next to be remastered. Either way, I’m excited!

I'm gonna be honest about this remastered version of this since it's my main favorite DB song. Despite the fact that the original version was removed due to what happened to DB, I still prefer it than this new version because this remastered one sounds like there's a bit too much "rock" tunes to it that I find out of place than the original to me. It's not bad, but feels not so much like the original version. Especially when the music tune is kind of more above than the singing tune.
I hope the “Uchiha” Death Battle tracks get remastered soon
