My husband is the one who brought the colors into my life. I was dealing with a lot in my life being deaf. I started a new school. 2006 First day of 6th grade last period of the day. He walked in and sat right next to me. It was love at first sight (we were too shy to say anything until we got together in 2014) and we have been best friends since then. We have only just been friends. He left for Hawaii at 16 and came back at 18. Those two years that he was gone my life was really dull. Then high school ended and I didn't see him again until a year later through mutual friends. We became best friends again and then a year later out of the blue he asked me to marry him... Like I said we have only ever been friends but in that moment I said yes and I suddenly became a fiance overnight. Got married in 2016, have 2 boys together and still madly in love with each other. Our parents have always said that we were fated to be together and they never understood why it took so dang long to get together lol.

The person that brought color into my life is my husband. October 25th will be our 13th anniversary. He was there during the hardest time of my life. While my mom battled cancer, won the first battle, then lost the second battle when it came back. He was there when I lost our first baby. He puts up with my autistic quirks, and I rely on him more than I probably should. He is my rock.
Tried to sing this karaoke one night and freaking broke down 1/4 the way through the song. This hits me so damn hard I can't even explain it
I cry whenever I listen to this song. It is so beautiful and moving, it hits you in the feels. makes me think of my grandma and my dad, they were a big part of my life, and I miss them so much.

I've always loved this song and video. But it really hit home after my best friend and soulmate passed away. It wasn't anything sexual but we were soulmates. This song almost described us to the letter. We made each other better people and knew that someone was always there to have our back. Now I can't hear or watch this video without thinking of him and it always brings tears to my eyes but it was so worth it.
It always is. When you meet someone like that, no matter how long or short your time with them is, it's always worth it. And then there are songs like this one that remind you about them and make you smile. Those are happy tears...trust me. God Bless you, my friend. Much love to ya.

I don't know how to answer that, but my mom was like that. She was not only my mom, but she was my friend. We did everything that was sung about in the song. I confided things to her, and we had our silly fights.
Now I can't do that anymore because she's in heaven.

He died way too soon for our love to fade. I want him back to finish my world. I'll tell you this, brain cancer is one of the worst creations I've known. I should have prepared myself more before watching this video. I knew where it was going and makes me think of my mom, my late fiance and the members of my family I lost recently. My mom brought light into my life growing up. My late fiance when I met him brought more light into my life. My aunt I lost this last Feb brought so much light to my life was always there when I needed to cry or vent and was there for me when I lost my mom 9 years ago this sunday. I thank god I still have my 2 sisters who still bring light into my life.

I unfortunately lost too many people. For several years we had at least 3 or 4 funerals a year. I have already been to 2 so far this year. The latest one was my roommate, friend and payee for my disability that I have known since 1995 and had been with since 2003. I love you brother. How are you doing?
