Great video. Not only did you show us how to rebuild it, you showed us that it’s not a bunch of plastic junk inside like so many other compressors. Thinking about building one of these into my off-road project for airing up and down tires. Some guys use them (with a tank) for locking differentials.

    • @Slicpartna

Wise decision, there isnt anything worse than being on the trail and need air to air up a tire. It better to have it and not need it than to need ir and not have it

❤❤ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. good job I have 6 of those air compressors 4 of them are in the toolbox of my pick up truck just for my airhorns. I will be buying those kids to rebuild the 4 air compressors that I use for my air horns I’ve noticed that they’ve gotten kind of slow on the air pressure buildup. I’ve had the pressure gauge all the way up to 250 psi to test for leaks, but I run the system all the way up to 170 psi but I do have a Boost button that will run it up as high as I want it as long as I hold the button in. After blowing my airhorns, I wanted rapid recovery on the air pressure so I have two switches, one activate. 2 air compressors, and the second switch. Activates. 2 more air compressors.
Trust me the airhorns wake up the dead if they are not staying in their own lane, going down the freeway because they are texting on the phone. I don’t want circus clowns to hit my truck so I have the wake up call button that I can push on my dash and wake them up. ❤❤❤❤

Do you think it would be wise to put Blue Lock Tight on the bolt threads. So it don't come apart from the vibrations that these units are known for. As you stated these are made of Aluminum and can't handle high torque on the bolts...Just a thought...time will tell.
