Thanks for the info. I know quite a bit about Germanys uboat war, but very little about the US one. Clay Blair's Silent victory is definitely on my list
@@michaelkovacic2608 There's a book about the Wahoo specifically .... don't remember the author but the title is just "Wahoo" if memory serves. Cmdr Morton was a very daring and unique sub captain and passed his skills on to Richard O'kane who went on to be Admiral of subs. Great read and some good pictures too!!
Отличная работа👍 С нетерпением ждем видео по Тирпицу))

Hello my friend, fantastic model, which paint do you use with a brush in your video? Another question: the super clear you are using, is it that of Mr Color GX?
can i ask are you using a lacquer based clear coat or an acrylic one. And also great work as usual, you are an absolute master model maker. every time i watch one of your videos i am just blown away at your skill and imagination. cant wait for your next video.
I would love to be able to see everything he needed to build the model. I've a good idea as I am preparing to take up again at age 67 . (It's been a very long time since I have built a kit. I had the tools only, I moved to a new address and "Poof", rhe rools have disapear..
Great work as always! How is your Tirpitz coming along? I recently bought the 1/350 Tirpitz from Tamiya, it's an old kit with mediocre details, but fine enough for me, because I want to modify it into an RC ship and build it to a modified design, with two quadruple main battery turrets, one forward and one aft. This would have shortened the citadel and thus, protection could have been greatly improved, especially of the main battery turrets, the citadel bulkheads and the main armored deck. Historically, Tirpitz' layered armor system left her somewhat vulnerable at long ranges due to vast improvements in shell technology (especially the much more reliable time triggered fuse of AP shells).
FYI. SS238 is the USS Wahoo. a very, very famous US Gato class. she was unfortunately lost in 1943

Awesome paint job, I really like the sea salt and algae formation on the hull.
As usual your painting skills take a cheap basic kit into a museum standard model
Excellent
This is some really cool modelling, great to see you working on projects like this often.
I've got a simpler version.
Oh, fun! This kit also pairs nicely with Tamiya 1/350 Fletcher.
You make it look so easy ,but that takes a lot of skill and patience in which you have both . Well done
It's like something from Thunderbirds...awesome. The detail is superb. I'm interested in buying one already. Cool!
Nice change pace , an it's good to have a break, from a huge project like the Tirpitz
It's nice to do a quick build to cleanse the palette! Nice one.
Great paint as always. Very nice build.
Very Good video, it was great that you painted it with brush, it encouraged me
*A submarine! And you built it very well! 👏👏*
You have even better brushpainting skills than airbrush skills, and in both You are really good! All the best for You! ;)
Awesome! ..waiting for a new update of the Tirpitz 👍🏻

Thank you for the comment!
I used AK 3rd gen acrylic colors black and neutral grey.
I used IPP's lacquer based super clear. just same as Mr. Color's.
Looks so simple when you do it ;)
Gorgeous

I am working on things on the deck, like bollards and vents. lots of small things.
And good luck with you Tirpitz!
Nice build mate! Which is the song of your intro? I've been looking for it for a long long time and i don't know which one is... thanks for sharing
Halo theme song is the one you're probably searching for mate
@@vladalexander7489 yeah many thanks bud!
Now my 1/350 gato looks like a kids toy.
Music sounds like a 90s EMu proteus 2 synth. Natsukashi
Great job 👍🏼

USS Wahoo (SS-238)
🐶🙂👍👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

I’ve yet to see anyone who can build this model kit with some semblance of accuracy. And you don’t either.
??????? Seriously? Is this supposed to be the Bat sub?
???? What are you talking about? What Bat sub?
Fabulous !
