      @@seoully02 I have a question about when i ride the Bus can i track in the naver maps app where I'm at so that i can follow along when i have to press the stopp button? is there also an alert button in naver maps like in kakao maps so it can tell me that I'm nearing my destination stopp?

    • @seoully02
      @seoully02  9 місяців тому +1

      Hello pUpi951!
      If you turn on the GPS function, you can track your current location in real time like Google Maps.
      However, as far as I know, when you get close to the destination stop, there is no such thing as an alarm function, either Kakao Map or Naver Map.

      To tell you more, the next stop comes out in English on the screen in front of the bus.
      In addition to that, English announcements are also played:)
      If you are still worried, you can check how many stops you have to pass to your destination through the app and check the bus stop you are passing by.
      If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.

    Thanks for making this useful video about public transportation! It's a great help!
    May I know are the buses info same in Daejeon and Jeonju?

      Hello YQ!
      I am glad that my video is helpful to you:)
      Daejeon and Jeonju are the same system.
      However, the details may be different, but if you use the Naver Map I introduced, you will be able to travel easily!

    Hi, thank you for this videos. But are you able to make one for Busan too? It will be my first time visiting there. Thank you 😊

    • @seoully02
      @seoully02  7 місяців тому +1

      There may be differences in details such as the bus stop number system, but Busan is not much different from the public transportation system I told you in the video:)
      So if you've seen this video, you won't have any problems using public transportation in Busan also!

    How can you quickly find out which direction the subway goes? I've seen sometimes on the signs there're 4 stations that are popular but it's a bit difficult to figure out at first glance which direction the subway is going if you're not familiar with it. Are there maps before you choose a side so you know which stations the subway goes to or is there a quicker way to find out which side to go to?

    • @seoully02
      @seoully02  9 місяців тому +2

      Hi! Thank you for asking me another question:)
      There are many ways, but it can be a bit tricky for tourists.
      The easiest way is to check the next station.
      In general, near the ticket gate, there is a map of the entire route to which station each direction goes.
      So before you tag T-money, you can see which way each subway goes, and you can check the next station on the map and the next station on the subway to see if it's the right direction.
      The top of the screen door on the platform waiting for the subway is also indicated with an arrow where the next station is, so it would be good to double-check.
      If you tagged T-money in the wrong direction, don't worry too much because you can come back out and tag it and go in the opposite direction for free as I said in the video.
      Sometimes these adventures can happen while traveling, but don't worry too much and if you really don't know about it in your trip, ask the Koreans around you and they will kindly let you know:)
