Happy Halloween! I finally uploaded a holiday cover on the holiday itself and not three days later hehehe. I don't do English covers very often, much less write translyrics but I really liked this song ever since I first heard it, and wasn't confident enough in my pronunciation to sing in the original language. I think I'm fairly happy with how everything came out in the end though.

If you guys don't know the background of this story, changgwi is a ghost-turned person, who was eaten by a tiger(the mountain god in Korean folklore) to death, and now the tiger uses changgwi like slaves. In order to escape this "slavery", you need to replace yourself with another changgwi in order to go to the world beyond. Anyways leaving a sub.

if anyone is wondering, "namu amita-bul" is an extremely important mantra in east asian buddhism. It's believed that chanting it will help you to be reborn in the pure land, a paradise where, without any of life's difficulties or distractions, people will be able to work toward attaining enlightenment much more easily then on earth. This is just my interpretation, but I think the Changgwi is chanting namu amita-bul because he knows that he's found his replacement, and will finally be able to move on to the pure land.
