That is actually called the butterfly valve in the exhaust. You don't need that back on your new exhaust. However, the motor that was connected to it. Leave that back on the bike. You would not the check engine light
📝 man, I’m here in the comments learning so much. I was wondering why the bike is still so quiet! Thank you for the knowledge bro. Appreciate the support 🫡
You actually didn't remove the cat, as most is left just a bit was trimmed, the catalyst is actually all the honeycomb looking structure that came after the front 02 sensors, what you actually did was remove the muffler, next time you need to remove all the honeycomb looking material thats still left after the front 2 o2 sensors, u might need a o2 defouler though to prevent a check engine light as the o2 upstream will be getting the same readings as the ones downstream due to the now deleted cat, and the bikes computer will read that as a failed cat.
Damn! Was wondering why it didn’t sound much louder ! Thank you man, we gonna just go full system and be done with it I only did this for jamaica carnival, wanted it to be louder. And the full exhaust wouldn’t get to jamaica in time. But thank you for the wisdom brother 🫡 u taught me something today
You need to clear out all mesh from the cat ,that's y it sounds the same, then get a power commander an tune, an then done dem, bike is on it way to being a beast keep up the good work 👏
@@motomaniaja774bmw don’t need a power commander cause the computer works as one it only needs a Bren tune and he will be good but before I get a Bren tune I would do a full exhaust at least from the headers
Great improvement on the sound but u should have made him remove all the metal that was in the header. Bike would breathe better and give a true rumble sound not to mention less restrictions on the flames 👌🏽
Damn! I was contemplating it but the mechanic said it might make the bike sound raspy 😫 really regret not doing that man. Thank you for your support. Appreciate that so much 🤛
I'm listening to the guy who doing the work. And he said that he have a jump and sound. No, he does not. If you think about a full system is free flow when you have a free flow, the bike perform properly by you removing the honeycomb. The exhaust gonna breed better. However, you need to flash the ECU. For the bike to learn what is on it
BRO! You are right, he’s the reason why I didn’t cut the honey comb mesh out. He said it would sound shitty. But then again, imagine if I did … I’d probably have a check engine light on right now until I get the ecu tuned
@@motomaniaja774 the bike is smart enough to reset itself the one thing about this bike it readjust itself after it’s being ridden and also the only time it should give a code is if you get rid of the o2 sensor or the servo
They sound like there's a leak. Also, I'm gonna be honest. It's sound the same once again. You have the honeycomes, so the bike is not breeding? The way it's supposed to, you have to drill that honeycomb out and have it welded. You put the clamp on you gonna have leaks. I've been through. That process
Also, if you could get that pipe welded, it'll be better. I wish I have your number so I can send you picture of what I do to mine from stock to what I have now. I did the same work, but I well demin
Just put back to serve a motor not that bracket. So the motor itself will not give you a check engine light when it come on to those bike. I know them ends and out
That's a honeycomes for the noise coming out of the bike. It's dumb down the noise, drew that out. Why are you putting a midpipe? You're not gonna get the performance with that. Honeycomb, get a drill and drilled it out
KNOW nothing about bike but support the general
😀😅 that is it mi streamer fren! Big up uself 🫡

Definetly 🙏 thank you man
The reason for the 4 o2 sensor is wherever the bike goal. It can read the temperature of outside performed the weight supposed to
Ohhhh. I was wondering why it had so many. But it’s my first BEEMER so I’m learning everyday

That is it my bro. Editing more as we speak! Respect 🫡
Take out all that mesh next time and get it weld together so that way you don’t an exhaust leak and you should get flames out the exhaust after that
Got it 💯 thanks bro

could have used a drill to get out the honey comb

I can’t believe what I just watched, just buy new headers and done why have you cut half the cat and put a mid pipe, waste of time and money
What’s the cost of a full system vs the cost of a mid pipe and the labour to cut the cat off?
You sure it’s a waste of money?
