Very great development very new and completely changed view for me I visited few months ago to see its development I still remember I landed in Mushereib Sofitel Hotel on 7th Feb 1988 as a guest of NODCO as I was employed by them and I have roamed around Mushereib and seen everything before this development started I really admire it long live Qatar and it’s Emir Shaikh Jasim bin Hamad Al Thani now I am retired and settled in India and visit my son good coverage

Will go to Doha for the World Cup. We’re planning on arriving at the Msheireb station, find the Msheireb Bus Station to take bus T602 which l think would drop us across the street from the Zubarah Hotel.

Yessss really nice for a coffee and a walk around... nice atmosphere and I already thought the temperature was quite pleasant from 10-12 in the morning I was there... lots of shade around to escape from the sun 🤙🏼

Msheireb Station where I experienced a peaceful takeover by CCC Company and QRail from SOQ-JV.
We are about 40-50% progress on Structural when the takeover occurred.
So sad I didn't have a chance to see the Metro operates.

yeah, there was a little drama by that time. with so many police. The site was closed for about a month. Lucky for us we are called to resume our Rebar works. Actually, that was Msheireb and Education City Station that were closed.

Such a nice video explained every nook and corner of Mushereb. Lots of happenings around the area since i left doha in late 2016 when Musherb construction was going on...Nice to watch an enlighted glimpse of the same area again in this video.

Nice vlog ! , I would like to add that Masharib Actually inspired by the old Arab cities(they even mentioned this when they advertised for the city few years ago ), the buildings in the old Arabic cities are close together with not very wide streets to create shades and protect from the sun most of the day. Msharib is actually the old doha so they decided to rebuild it like the old Arabic cities not like the American planning (wide streets,car first planning, cause it’s absolutely not fit for a hot climate) ,Arabian gulf countries followed American way (and many European did too)starting from the 60s which was a big mistake. Msharib Architecture has nothing to do with European Architecture cause this will go against the purpose of rebuilding the old city.

i never see any big trucks making deliveries. and down these narrow streets how would they get around. do they have rear entrances off the main streets for deliveries or are semis not allowed in the area at all. im interested in knowing how they do this or did they even think of this at all when they were building
Good point I think in most cases there are narrower streets one side then a wider access behind or vice versa..

The musheireb downtown district doha is very good for enjoying and can I also drink one cup of tea and coffee. Are there any restaurants in musheireb downtown doha?? The place where you visited does it have any shopping mall. And It is good to visit mesheireb. Me bunking 2 days of intellectual education center can come and see the musheireb downtown doha.
Yesss there are and also still being built! The Galleria shopping mall will be very nice when it's done. Also outside walking areas in Msheireb are good because you will find a lot of areas in the shade. Thanks so much Amit, nice to hear from you!!!

I see you need to bend down to enter /exit the metro doors. Not convenient I assume
True! Being 1.98 m tall ( 6'6'') I am quite used to it though! Door opening could be a little higher but for most people i think it's no issue. Very well spotted!! 😃
