WOOOOW, that is awesome... I am a huge fan of Tina Maze and I think its AWESOME that Miss Gisin actually admitted that Miss Maze made a mistake at the last turn and almost lost the the Olympic title...Most people wouldnt mention that, because of their big egos... Gisin must be a very nice woman. When a reporter asked Tina if she feels this win has just a little bit of a bad taste because she could stand on the podium alone if she didnt make a mistake0, she said: ˝Lets put it this way...If you asked me before Olympics with whom I want to share Gold Medal, I would choose Dominique, I wouldnt even have to think twice. I am actually glad that someone else gets to enjoy the same feeling that I am enjoying right now.. If I could, I would share the podium with more people. ˝ Tina also said that Miss Gisin is her best friend among skiers and that sharing a Gold Medal with your friend is like a dream.
One of the best things was also World Championship 2015 when Tina also took Gold Medal in Downhill... And she beat Lindsey Vonn by more than a second (1.05) at Vonn´s own territory :) And the funny thing is that some people said that Maze and Gisin wouldnt win Gold in Sochi if Vonn wasnt injured... Up yours, Lindsey :) Its just tooooooo damn bad that Gisin was injured for the 2015 Vail/Beaver Creek World Championship -maybe she and Tina would be tied again :)
I must also say that race is one of the best races available on UA-cam. Such a pleasure to watch!
beautiful, talented, and now her sis is also a GM- Alpine Combined-2018.
Alberto Zerain 11 I was at her medal ceremony in PyeongChang!
Brilliant do more of these please
I think i'm crying. I wasn't prepared for Dominiques tears. :') And i'm not from Switzerland.. :D
The Swiss are known for cheese, chocolate, watches and a mini military knife. Forget all that, they now have Dominique and Olympic gold.
