@@MarkWallace-zo7bt Nobody is denying that. But the headline for tOSU/IU shouldn't be that tOSU outlasts IU, but that tOSU DRUBBED the number 5 team in the country by 23 points. Outlast is what you use for two teams in the top 5 who were in a shootout, and the better team wins by a td or off 2 field goals. The headline is trash.
What's really ironical about this year, from a Penn State's PoV, is that had it been only a 4 team playoff like the last 10 years, they would've been in a brilliant position to be a likely shoe in 😂. So one of the biggest criticism of Franklin which is not making the 4 team playoff would've resolved itself this year, given how the madness in other conferences is helping Penn St but definitely now that its a 12 team field, there's zero doubt now that it will be in with a home playoff game. Also, I can't wait to see the reaction of Fine"bum" and his mental gymnastics on how the SEC should put a 3 loss team in.
“3 days ago I thought ole miss would win a championship” then goes on to say crazy shit Yall are overthinking it. Ole Miss and Alabama are out. Tennessee and Indiana are still in it. Let’s see what happens next week
Does A&M really have to win both games? If they beat Texas, they would earn an extra game. If Georgia beats A&M, how could you reward Texas with their spot after they just lost to A&M?
Because they beat everyone on their schedule handily with the exceptions of the wolverines & tOSU. They beat the wolverines by 5 and lost to tOSU. By contrast, Bama's strength of schedule is better than IU's by a mile, yet they've only lost to one ranked team, and of their other 2 loses, they were not counted as part of that tough schedule. No one, including the fan bases of those respective unranked teams, predicted that they would handle Bama the way they did. They certainly didn't have them as a strong opponent to Bama in any way. IU beat every unranked team on their schedule, Bama did not.
@fr0stb1ght34 If thats the case then schedule a whole season of cupcakes every year. if beating a bunch of shitty teams "handily" and losing to the only good team on the schedule is the rule, then SOS is meaningless. Hell, lets just put an undefeated FCS school in the playoffs then. they beat everyone on their schedule. It's supposed to be the best teams playing each other to determine on the field who is best. Its not about who scheduled the easiest games and won them all. The argument makes no sense.
Ohio outlast Indiana, what are you guys smoking. Indiana lost by 23 to the only good team they played. Also who is paying you to beat up on Tn. Vols? Tn strength of schedule was 27, Indiana's over 100. DUH
it was 31-15 , surely you're not counting the classless 1 yard TD run at the end when the OSU player actually had class to slide down at the one and Ryan Day decided to run it in (other coaches saw). So the point differential was 16, not 23. So a 16 point loss with Indiana's special teams not showing up and Indiana's backup O'line in total regression mode after they lost 2 starters to season-ending injuries who need a little more time to gel, is enough to get them in the playoffs and have another shot at the crack-eyes.
The real question is does Georgia get in if they lose the SEC championship? They were 100% in the playoff before making the SECCG and if they lost they’d be 1-1 against Texas so do they get penalized for losing?
Indiana being 11-1 is and getting in is LITERALLY the same as 11-1 army getting in. They played the same awful schedule, but absolutly noone thinks army would get in because for some reason, the B1G sticker on Purdue, maryland, northwestern, UCLA, michigan state and nebraska's helmets confuses the hell out of unintelligent people. These are not quality teams, these b1G teams wouldnt bowl in the American this year. Indiana's schedule should disqualify them, and they did it to themselves when they cancelled on louisville so that the could play an FCS team.
There are no elite SEC teams this year. That's clear That being said, the SEC was far and away the toughest conference to play in this year, & teams like Oregon, Ohio State, & especially Penn St & Indiana, will get all they can handle & then some if they get matched up against an SEC contender in the playoffs. The thing about "surviving" in the SEC this year is that they know how to win a dog fight. Penn state & Indiana don't. Oregon has had to do it once. The SEC won't have as many teams in the playoffs as first thought, but the ones that will be in it have been baptized by fire while the others have been fed warm milk
Winning and losing didnt matter last season...I think its pathetic to call yourself a fan of a conference...I'm a fan of my team...I want every other team in the conference to lose every game
No one is arguing there is merit right now, Ari. Things shift and they shifted Saturday. Not really understanding your point. It's still okay to say one loss Notre Dame, Penn State and Indiy aren't as good as Georgia and wouldn't have gotten through Georgia's schedule with two losses only.
The Tennessee hate from these two is getting a little ridiculous.
Thanks. Saved me from watching.
Oregon and penn state squeaking by teams that would be 13th and 14th in the SEC and we are gonna shit talk Tennessee. Crazy lol

Bama don't deserve to get into the playoffs all we had to do is win out. Our quarterback just isnt the answer im pissed.
If Tx wins out, Ga wins out and Tn wins out, they all 3 will likely be in playoffs, or should be no matter what happens in SEC championship
Bama just got punked by Oklahoma they’re done. Ole miss is done. Y’all wanted Tn to be left out so bad 😂😂
See, this is why people hate On3. How did Alabama get "drilled" by Oklahoma in a 21 point game, but OSU winning by 23 against Indiana is "outlast"ing?
Because Alabama was supposed to take a fat shit on Oklahoma and the opposite happened? This is the biggest Alabama loss by the numbers in two decades?
Bama was favored by 14 points, instead they lost by 21, for a 35 expectation deficit. OSU was favored by 10 and exceeded.
They got drilled because they should have won by 21

Put any of the 2 loss SEC teams in the B1G and they have just as good of a record. I doubt you can say the same if you put the B1G team in the SEC
