I’m glad to see you making videos and I love being able to see the perspective y’all have. I enjoyed the movie, though the script could have been neater. The performances were amazing and the direction was amazing.
theFLICKpick When I was watching this movie, there was an old lady who yelled “Oh!! So they have to be quiet!” Like she hadn’t seen the title of the film, or any of the trailers.
i thought it was ridiculous.... did her character seem like the kind that wouldn't have entered teh "forbidden room" which is not locked dozens of times by now?
Seeing the flick pick logo behind chris‘ head makes me want him to have a tiny john-head floating around him all the time. It would be his sidekick and it would constantly make john-quotes... „don‘t get scared now!“.
Not true, those creatures were indestructible. No one figured out how to kill them until the end of the movie. I think they showed a video clip of one of the creatures getting blown up and being unaffected.
What’s up man, I was just sitting here and I felt like I hadn’t seen ur videos in a long while and then this video popped up aaaaand yeh, once again another great video 👍
Bro did you say wait a week or two for your reviews? I'm not gonna hate. You made me think I could do what you do and I started my own movie review channel. Hope you get back in things soon. Now your review. Yes I enjoyed it. You guys have great I interview styles. Keep them coming bro.
Parent logic for this film: our first kid made noise and got killed so let's make a smaller more screamy version of him! It'll be fine! We just put him in this soundproof box for most of his childhood doped tf out his mind! we're such good parents!
The sacrifice scene was also my favorite. I’d like to imagine my dad doing the same for me in another life, ya know, the one where he didn’t leave my mom before I was born. Lmao
What makes it even worse is he KNOWS his family will be vulnerable when he's gone but he has no other choice this is the only thing he can do to protect them yet he won't be able to keep doing it. Ironic no?
If you've ever tried to write blogs or shoot vlogs, it's not that easy to be consistent. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing it, and that's fine. If you've got something else going on, or another interest you're pursuing, you don't have to keep producing content. If he's going through something in his life with moving and his former relationship and maybe writer's block, I don't think it's unreasonable.
Yes Paramount did confirm it. But personally, I'm hoping for a prequel. I want to see the first days of the invasion and chaos. Or focus on another family. While I liked the family in this movie, you could do so much with this franchise. The name alone will get people back in the seats
Please post more vlogs and funny vids, ur vids got me through the boredom of being out of school last summer, and idk if I can make it with you posting once a month, if you could post one or two a week on each channel you would literally be my role model
There were solar panels in the background in the small scene where John krasinski was laying down some sand on the ground to make sure there was sand on the path near the beginning of the movie
Dude, while watching this video, I just could not stop focusing John's "zombies ate my neighbors" shirt. When I saw it my jaw dropped because that was my favorite video game as a kid, but I had forgotten all about it. I'm a 32 year old adult, so seeing that shirt and the graphics of the two playable characters was like getting sucker punched by nostalgia and I was taken back to when I was a kid playing that game. It was fucking awesome and I NEED TO KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THAT SHIRT!
Finally watching this video, a quiet place was one of those amazing movies that just slipped by me for whatever reason, I saw the trailer when it came out thinking “ok this looks good” and finally watched it over a year later. Great movie
Chris, you can see solar panels on the roof the house. That's how they got the energy. They showed it but it was quick so many people might have missed it
Im glad most people really enjoyed Krasinki’s film. That being said, I questioned the characters decisions every 5 minutes so that brought the movie down for me.
The one thing that bugged me about the movie was the concept of the monsters. The played it fast and loose with the lore of the creatures, they make an absolute rule that even the faintest sound - to the point that even whispering is forbidden - will attract these things. Assuming they stay away from persistent noises like rivers/waterfalls/etc, rain/hail must drive these things crazy. The blowing wind? Scattering leaves/debris? Insects? Cicada season?! Unlike with humans, you can't blindly hack and slash at insects. Emily Blunts character was able to divert attention using an oven timer, yet this age-old diversion tactic was ignored for the rest of the movie to fatal results. Throw a stone off somewhere?! People with eyes have been fooled. And last of all, they killed it. No. You do not kill a monster like this, in a movie like this. You open up a whole can of worms when you do so. Nobody else figured it out? In all that time, consider that the newspapers were still publishing when the hunt-by-hearing thing was discovered, hence some form of order (military perhaps) existed. No military-brain somewhere figured out that since they need sound to navigate, perhaps confuse or even stun them with high frequencies?! All in all, good movie, bad monsters.
In my theater, everyone was completely quiet until the daughter's hearing aid started hurting the creatures. But there was this one guy who dropped his metal bottle. We all jumped out of our seats
The idea to use bomb to lure monsters was done in 'I am Legend'. The word Rocket is a deliberate misuse to call Fireworks, because the youngest son in in the beginning of the movie was too young to know what Fireworks is. The same boy misunderstanding of the word Rocket, ties-in with his drawing of a Rocket on the floor of the Pharmacy, in the beginning of the movie.
I didn’t think of sleep sounds! We snore like bears at our house. And my husband apparently works randomly at a Pepsi plant in his dreams, judging from his talking. (Wich is weird because Pepsi has nothing at all to do with our lives except at night when my husband wakes me up with his instructions on where I should stack the Pepsi crates)
I was watching at home with only my sister and my little niece, but i made the decision to have a large bag of kettle cooked chips and a bag of sour patch watermelons as a movie snack 😂😂 Took me so long to open it!
I guess this movie is one of those u had to watch it in theatre than at home to get that fear factor. I thought this was short n okey.. no I wasn't scared at any point.. well shot tho n really well done by john for his debut as a director. N that basement scene with emily hiding from tht monster was well made with good thriller n suspense
Holy shit balls. If you make me wait another month I will put 4 ice cubes in your damn cup. Please dear lord return to 2015 form. Put that depression down NOOOWWW. (Arnold voice)
I was just thinking, what if everyone who was still alive built a gigantic sound proof box that talk or reaction UA-camrs use and had a speaker to attract the creatures and they just locked up all of the creatures and dumped them in the river
Smart? The movie is pretty dumb... From the start when they let the kid die to the end when a women and a girl kill one of the monsters that is terrifying the human race?
Vincent Marduk Maybe you're having an approach a little too logical and realistic. It's not a documentary, it's an horror movie. Realism maybe wasn't just their priority.
I kinda want to see this but the only thing is I think it might be kinda weird for me because there's barley any dialogue I heard and I'm not used to seeing a movie with no talking. But I'll probably still check it out.
I love it, i just keep thinking about the scene where the dad light a fire and you can see other fires in the distance and then when the kids do it, after the rockets, there is no fires. Did they had neighbors? Did they kill them with the rocket strategy?
YES finally a movie review addresses - albeit briefly - the obvious similarities between this movie and The Silence by Tim Lennon (which is currently being adapted into a movie). Alien-like creatures that strike through sound, a family struggling to survive, a deaf daughter... Too many similarities to be coincidental.
I think the movie shows it's hard for them to travel hence why they set up shop at home you see that there are other people when they light the fires at night but it doesn't look like they even communicate with each other cause for a long distance journey they can't do it by foot and possibly the fear of trying and either making noise and not making it or not having enough supplies to make it
I loved the film!! Great performances and very suspenseful. The one thing that annoyed me about the film, is the waterfall scene. I know it is necessary to set up the premise of bigger sounds masks smaller sounds. But why don't they set up a home there so the baby would be able to make some sounds without being confined to a box. If the father is able to yell at the top of his lungs without the creatures hearing him, then the baby could also be allowed to cry. On the other hand, if the creatures hunt by sound, then a waterfall would probably not be that much of a cover. They must have adapted to the sound of rushing water, and then know how to zone it out and focus on the sudden sounds made by possible prey, thus they wouldn't be able to make a sound by the waterfall. Only other unfamiliar sounds like the fireworks would mask smaller sounds... I might just be overthinking it and it is a small part of an otherwise great film!
I love that they shot it on 35mm too, so gorgeous. I hate how rare it is for horror movies and movies in general to be shot on film today which is really a shame as it’s the best format. It’s partly one of the reason why it looks way better than it’s budget and it doesn’t look cheap despite its low budget
I thought this movie had some similarities to the last of us. The beginning with the boy dying reminded me of Sarah's death, the boy's sister taking the toy was like Ellie taking the toy to give to Sam, the creatures reminded me of the clickers in the game (blind, attack based on sounds) some of the scenery as well especially the opening shots gave me vibes of the last of us. With all that said The film was terrific, I loved it & great video john.
Dude, I just wanna say that you are looking great! Your muscles are looking natural, and it doesn’t look like your on steroids anymore 😂 no offence. Also your videos as of late have been very well made, and your humour is on point as usual!
ehhh, i would give it about a 5/6...just because it kept me kinda interested to see the creature. the ear thing was given early in the movie so that was not really a shocker. in my opinion
This movie deserved a 24 minute discussion, enjoy!
Thanks for the review! Love the shirt btw. Classic SNES!
took you long enough lol
I’m glad to see you making videos and I love being able to see the perspective y’all have. I enjoyed the movie, though the script could have been neater. The performances were amazing and the direction was amazing.

When I was watching this movie, there was an old lady who yelled “Oh!! So they have to be quiet!”
Like she hadn’t seen the title of the film, or any of the trailers.
Also my favorite movie of the year so far. Plus, I am also a fan of the Tremors films and have been re-watching them working my way up to the new one.
When ever there is a video with Chris and John , I legit get sooo excited and happy at the same time . I’m never dissapointed .
Erny Morales bromance- the new stucky? Lol
Erny Morales ikr
*whenever
Totally agree!
I thought the scene when the daughter went into the basement and saw all the stuff her dad researched after he died was a deep emotional moment.
i thought it was ridiculous.... did her character seem like the kind that wouldn't have entered teh "forbidden room" which is not locked dozens of times by now?
Don't need to nit pick that much or you just ruin for ur self bro :)
You guys have such different personalities with pretty similar taste in movies. Thats why you guys work so well together.
They have Solar Panels in the scene where John is putting down Sand
That scene with John telling his daughter he loved her was amazing!!! I reacted the same way!!!! Chills!
John’s arm veins need their own channel 😂 💪🏻
Seeing the flick pick logo behind chris‘ head makes me want him to have a tiny john-head floating around him all the time. It would be his sidekick and it would constantly make john-quotes... „don‘t get scared now!“.
Holy shit, he's alive!
Not true, those creatures were indestructible. No one figured out how to kill them until the end of the movie. I think they showed a video clip of one of the creatures getting blown up and being unaffected.
Lets see a reunion of these 2. Yall good friends. As it seems, talk it out dudes
Miss your reviews!!! So happy to see this pop up on my notifications.
What’s up man, I was just sitting here and I felt like I hadn’t seen ur videos in a long while and then this video popped up aaaaand yeh, once again another great video 👍

Love your videos John as always you're flicking awesome
Awesome shirt John. I like your style man!!
The sound is weird?
Beavispdx i noticed
Yeah it is
a little but from what i noticed john's always been a louder talker than chris.
Yess! A new Video. Love you John. Past month I had to just binge watch old vids haha. Pls do more Flick Trips. ☺💯
You can see solar panels in one of the shots of the house.
Great discussion points and love your branding “flicking thoughts” awesome!!! hope to see more of your posts dude!
Stuck Flicks, Flick Stuck?
19:15 Chris' impression of the lady next to em had me Rollin 😂😂😂
There was a solar panel seen in the movie. Quick and not the focus on the scene but you'll see it.
Ironic no?
Nice your back John, i agree with you on the last shot of the movie. Hope to see a review soon of Ifinity War :)
Weird. I didn’t get a notification for this even though I have notifications on
OMG so happy to see you make another videoo love your channel.
Love your shirt! That was one of my fave games on the SNES!

The sleeptalker joke i died 😂😂😂
Wow! Only 10 months too late John!
BlakeBenji I'd thought he was done providing videos.
BlakeBenji Truth! Hahahh
Jason Clark Ikr

Hey guys, IMDB has confirmed it's getting a sequel.
Nooooooooooooooo
Can’t really trust imdb all the time but it’s already been confirmed by Paramount
Yes Paramount did confirm it. But personally, I'm hoping for a prequel. I want to see the first days of the invasion and chaos. Or focus on another family. While I liked the family in this movie, you could do so much with this franchise. The name alone will get people back in the seats
WWHHYY!!!
Wrong fucking decision
The Batman figure behind them looks like he’s hiding and waiting to strike when they finish the video 😂
These guys make a really good team.
Please post more vlogs and funny vids, ur vids got me through the boredom of being out of school last summer, and idk if I can make it with you posting once a month, if you could post one or two a week on each channel you would literally be my role model
Boredom of being out of school? Fucking nerd loser
Tyler Gable wow man
John, Did you just tell Stuckman at the end to f*ck off ??... :))). You guys are helarious:)))
I really didn’t like this movie but I’m so glad to get another team up from the two of you!
There were solar panels in the background in the small scene where John krasinski was laying down some sand on the ground to make sure there was sand on the path near the beginning of the movie
Whoever said that John was getting skinny I bet feels pretty silly right about now lol:)
Lol thought I was dead inside!!!!!! Great review. Where do I find your patreon podcast?
Dude, while watching this video, I just could not stop focusing John's "zombies ate my neighbors" shirt. Hey John nice video, Chris is always cool too. Keep up the good work, God bless you
Chris, you can see solar panels on the roof the house. That's how they got the energy. They showed it but it was quick so many people might have missed it
YESS!!!! He uploaded a new video!!!
Im glad most people really enjoyed Krasinki’s film. That being said, I questioned the characters decisions every 5 minutes so that brought the movie down for me.
I love the first scene and that look of dread that all parents are familiar with when their child has a toy that is going to be noisy.
OMG, I love Zombies Ate My Neighbours! Where did you get that shirt?!?!
The one thing that bugged me about the movie was the concept of the monsters. The played it fast and loose with the lore of the creatures, they make an absolute rule that even the faintest sound - to the point that even whispering is forbidden - will attract these things. All in all, good movie, bad monsters.
Chutiya
This comment is epic
I imagine over time the monsters would be used to constant noises like the river and ambiance, but you do have good points
When Lee is sanding the path, you can see on the roof that there are solar panels. That is where the electricity is coming from.
In my theater, everyone was completely quiet until the daughter's hearing aid started hurting the creatures. But there was this one guy who dropped his metal bottle. We all jumped out of our seats
How do you go to the bathroom without making noise? That would be the most stressful bathroom break ever.
There were solar panals. It was established in the scene where the dad was repairing one of the sand paths
There is a shot where you can see solar panels on the roof. It is not really that difficult to get electricity these days....
Relish this guys, we won’t be getting another video from John till mid to late July.
whats the new movie?!
12:00 that was exactly what I was thinking during the movie 😂
Dude you are so far behind in reveiws lol but I loved it anyway
“What if you were a sleep talker “ hahaha good point
I didn’t think of sleep sounds! We snore like bears at our house.
And my husband apparently works randomly at a Pepsi plant in his dreams, judging from his talking. (Wich is weird because Pepsi has nothing at all to do with our lives except at night when my husband wakes me up with his instructions on where I should stack the Pepsi crates)
Hate to be that guy but it's been over three months since a vlog or anything on the other channel...
I think its time he just consolidates both channels to one with the lack of new material.
I read where Kevin Bacon was eaten. Not the Kevin Bacon, but the one who went on a Grindr connection, was consumed by his connector.
I was watching at home with only my sister and my little niece, but i made the decision to have a large bag of kettle cooked chips and a bag of sour patch watermelons as a movie snack 😂😂 Took me so long to open it!
Who would've thought that the two most interesting new horror movies would be directed by two comedy actors(Krasinski and Peele)?
I guess this movie is one of those u had to watch it in theatre than at home to get that fear factor. I thought this was short n okey.. no I wasn't scared at any point.. well shot tho n really well done by john for his debut as a director. N that basement scene with emily hiding from tht monster was well made with good thriller n suspense
That raccoon jump scare tho youd think that with all the noise birds and all those small rodents make the aliens would have gotten to them already
Great review guys!
His arms, man. I can't stop looking at the veins.
Holy shit balls. If you make me wait another month I will put 4 ice cubes in your damn cup. Please dear lord return to 2015 form. Put that depression down NOOOWWW. (Arnold voice)

A Quiet Place was as smart as it was suspenseful. Definitely one of the best films of the year!
Smart? The movie is pretty dumb... From the start when they let the kid die to the end when a women and a girl kill one of the monsters that is terrifying the human race?
Cool story.

What the Flick , i am watching it and i'm halfway through.
I love it, i just keep thinking about the scene where the dad light a fire and you can see other fires in the distance and then when the kids do it, after the rockets, there is no fires. Did they had neighbors? Did they kill them with the rocket strategy?
Audio is a little iffy. Love the Video!
As a person who has made stairs my biggest nit pic was the nail in a middle of the step...there is NO reason for it to be there...
I'm here for John. No hate on the Stuck-man, let's just not get it twisted.
Where do I get that shirt? It was my favorite video game as a kid, playing it while my cousins babysat me in the late 90's.
hahahaha, nail on the head in regards to the popcorn, i could only finish like less than a quarter of mine when seeing this
Awesome review
I saw a scene or two with solar panels on the roof of the house, so there's their power source, I was questioning that myself.
I think the movie shows it's hard for them to travel hence why they set up shop at home you see that there are other people when they light the fires at night but it doesn't look like they even communicate with each other cause for a long distance journey they can't do it by foot and possibly the fear of trying and either making noise and not making it or not having enough supplies to make it
Two legends together!!
I loved the film!! Great performances and very suspenseful.

My favorite movie of the year
Hell Boy lmfao it was so bad
Wow really? lol
What about Deadpool 2?
Not even the best horror of this year
I love that they shot it on 35mm too, so gorgeous. I hate how rare it is for horror movies and movies in general to be shot on film today which is really a shame as it’s the best format. It’s partly one of the reason why it looks way better than it’s budget and it doesn’t look cheap despite its low budget

The sequel to this movie is basically going to be the last of us
8:45 "Screw poor people, only the rich deserve to live . . ." XD
That's too funny...I made the joke after leaving the theater that people who talk in their sleep were most likely the first to go 😂
Dude, I just wanna say that you are looking great! Your muscles are looking natural, and it doesn’t look like your on steroids anymore 😂 no offence. Also your videos as of late have been very well made, and your humour is on point as usual!
Name a better duo than john and chris.... i dare you
ehhh, i would give it about a 5/6...just because it kept me kinda interested to see the creature. the ear thing was given early in the movie so that was not really a shocker. in my opinion
I totally love this movie! And the fact that everyone in the threader was completely Quiet was epic🤨😂
Keep up the great videos
haven't been here in a while and i'm tired, so when his intro popped up i somehow read it as "big dick" for a moment lmfao
Nice shirt John
