Ndlozi and the EFF is not my cup of tea, but I have to say. For the first time as I can remember, he is talking sense. The only thing I don't agree with him, is about the GNU. So far it's working and it can do even better if allowed to do so.
What has the GNU done so far since you see it working?
For my observations this GNU is desired to silence opposing parties, all parties who collaborated with ANC are now silenced and you are slightly beginning to conclude that it's working and that's a false assumption influenced by those who were vocal and they're now silenced because they are power hungry

I don’t agree with the EFF in general. However, Dr. Ndlozi not only has exposed the gaps in policing regarding extortionists but also in crime combating in general. The only way to be preventative is crime intelligence. Other prevention issues will never be successful as most of the social issues haven't been addressed. I refer to unemployment, hunger, and lack of basic services to these people in distress. The big question is: will you steal to support your family amid no employment, etc? Then don't blame the police for preventing crime as the causes are social. I am not referring to crime for greed and violence. For specific crimes, you have no choice but to improve crime intelligence and reactive policing. Perhaps the success of arrests and serious judicial response will have preventative values. Sources of intelligence are members of communities and the reward for information. Dr. Ndlozi and Ian Cameron of the portfolio committee on Police will be successful in driving a new perspective on fighting crime and accountability. By the way, Dr Ndlozi, thank you for contributing to real issues and not politics. Crime is not a competitive issue for politicians. Do you need a politician to drive policing as they are governed by our Constitution and related laws? If a politician, then there to change the Constitutional guidelines. Policing is a world science, it doesn’t matter if you are in China, Russia, Africa, or the West. These police officers speak the same language. Most police officers are not political animals. You have a big knowledge base of police scientists in your midst even PHD. I don’t see acknowledgments of these scientists. You will see them in low ranks. It seems our Police are not fond of graduates. Look at when students become graduates and who have no prospects for employment. Use these people and don’t see them as a thread.

I was actually thinking about the same thing of "doing away with tender system" that became our biggest problem. The government must employ people and build road and school direct without all this tendentrepreneurs who now fight for tenders, becoming extortionists. EFF must join the GNU so they can speak from inside than standing outside to criticize. We all are affected and need a working country.

The fact that EFF has 9% doesn't mean they are politically incorrect, but majority of people prefer to listen to what pleases their ears. That's why in politics you must tell a lot of lies to win majority. Unfortunately in this majority you find even those people you would consider educated and wise. But education and wisdom are 2 different things.
