Drake has been absolutely solid, he has held up against tough defenses already and already proved how valuable he will be to this team and its future. Developing our roster or picking talents from the draft imo will help elevate him. The big thing is how he looks the next couple of years, alot of QBs it seems like from recent drafts start to falter. I don't see that, but the coaching around Drake has to be there for his development. I also do think that the NFL can def do better in terms of developing player positions as a whole. Mac Jones had a good first year and faltered his last years in this org and alot of it is on coaching. The coaching changed very often even having a defense guy running offense. You can't develop a QB or offense like that, you need consistency and more importantly sticking to situational football. Playing situational football is so critical and that is something Bill and Tom both emphasized on, this game is about situations in the moment and being able to adapt and overcome. If you can't do that you are def going to hurt.
Im a dolphins fan, so its really not in my best interest to hope for good things from the pats, but i like when theyre a good team who puts up a good fight against Miami.
I do enjoy the take both Jules and Gronk had on who is going to win. They knew it was going to be a close game and the spread wasn't even far off either from what Jules had said. I think the Pats should be happy with what they are seeing. One, thing in my book and unprofessional opinion Coaching isn't exactly there. But, let be real here, this team is rebuilding and we are going to see the ugly, See Lions Post Circa 2023. It was downright ugly for them and were able to right their ship. I think we will see something like this in New England. Hopefully.
Julian "should've" been the MVP...AND WAS! He deserved it, too! Drake Maye: a work, in progress; I think his work ethic is solid...he just needs to execute more consistently. 👍
As a Ram fan I can tell you Maye isn't their problem. Coaching decisions and the team around him are where the problem lies. Really poor coaching who simply dropped the ball when scouting the Rams are why they lost that game. Pat fans should be encouraged by what they see in their QB. But IMO they need better at the coaching level to make the jump to the next level. A prime example is their cover zero against a future HOF QB? Kupp scores an easy TD because of it. They lost by 6 points.
What are your thoughts on Drake Maye?
I love Drake maye I got really excited when my patriots drafted him and he’s been playing really well this season💙❤️🏈.
Looking like the best QB out of this draft. Doing the most with the least

@@lottjiwell, no. Nix is good and so is Jayden Daniels
For what the Patriots give to him he is playing very good and he develops into the right direction. 👍🏼
If Drake had these two in their prime and one of Bradys O lines he'd be breaking rookie records.
Hm! Good POINT.
Julian Edelman did win MVP in Super Bowl 53
Yeah he did
So sick to have a Super Bowl mvp as a wr

I like the kid . His leadership will get better
Drake Maye, I still dream of Gronk and Edelman on the field with Drake Maye lighting up the NFL
My goodness, but that would be fun.
I’d still take Brady if we’re playing make believe fantasy.
I loved Gronky and Edelnut on the field and I love them even more off the field 😂
Good call; astute observation ! 😁
But... Julian did win MVP 😂
Gronk knew he was but his delivery made it seem like he didnt know.
I love these guys 😂😂

@@400strong Def not giving up on a first year coach, the ugly should be expected and shouldn't surprise anyone.
If only Gronk and Julien were younger and they could play for the Patriots again, we have poor receivers and these guys would really help us.
Jules trying so hard not to swear 😂

Now, trade Joe Milton III. He should never have been drafted in the first place - and get yourselves a franchise coach. Mayo is in over his head.
I prefer milton over brisett getting 8 million to do nothing.
