That’s funny I get mine from autozone and it comes with warranty. And I use mine to bounce around from customer to customer and the warranty has come in handy .
It's possible that's a 4.2 sensor, usually used in early-mid 2000's cars. The connector on a universal 4.9 is 25mm vs 35mm on a 4.2. The 17480 has a custom connector, and it should be noted you CANNOT swap them. The calibration resistor is inside the connector itself. You must swap the controller-side connector.
I'd like to see if the Denso or Motorcraft 6 pin O2 sensor will work. I think they are superior to Bosch on domestic applications. I don't want a 3 month sensor. I want a 3 year sensor.
So this is funny, ive bought and tested a few of these with the aem 30-400 and basically they would work for about 15 min and die, on this particular turbo car. But, it keeps killing them from awm as well. Its in a bend a lil bit and needs to be moved
@@GoatRopeGarage about 2ft. So it's a 3rd gen camaro 5.7ls 6speed, turbo front pass side head. Straight dp for about 2 ft, then 90s down 10" and 90s back to exhaust. It's out of the 1st 90 about 2". I think it needs moved up top b4 the 90 and I've told owner to move it, next time i go over there it may be we'll see
@@GoatRopeGarage I've never had an issue with an aem either but this 400 series has messed up and they wouldn't replace. We've bought 2 and tried a few of those shelf ones and they'd work for a bit but the aem ones would work for a couple weeks
@@GoatRopeGarage that's what I think. Its a nice street car and i got the fuel in it u know. So that may be some of it too. I'll update when moved and see what up

What's the part number from Autozone?? I just installed my kit and I'm getting this issue... I'M PART IF THE TEAM LOL
The LSU 4.9 has black, grey, yellow, white, and red wires. Can you tell me where they get wired to with the pro link+?
Thanks for the info mate. Are you using the wideband up stream for the closed loop control ? Which ECU ?
Yeah, about 16” after the turbo on a fuel tech 550
I got a lifetime warranty one off amazone. Had it 4 or 5 years and they have send me 3 new ones. I was suprised they swapped it.
Any bosh 4.9 lsu will work 4.2 lsu if its real old one
Do you have a link for the amazon 3 pack?
Can’t find it but I’ll find the other cheap one I’ve ordered and had luck with. It’s like $40 each
@@GoatRopeGarage Awesoeme! Thanks
Was about to ask this same Q, 😂
Does it have the calibration resistor in the connector ?
Myth
What about the holley ntk sensor. That ones always been an issue. $300+ for a replacement. Are they really calibrated only for holley?
Doubtful. Any NTK wide range sensor will probably work.
Please confirm this
What about the Bosch 17480? It had a longer tail.
If it has a 4.9 connector it should work

Crazy, how far is it from the turbo?

@slopoke22 yeah, it’s far enough back but if it’s sitting right after the 90 it might be getting too much exhaust on it as it collects in the bend

And autozone gives a one year warranty on them so if you’re tuning something mad rich and foul the sensor you can get another free of charge!!
