  • Documentary based on the diaries of Iain Ogilvie, about a single man's effort to rescue two fellow-climbers after they slipped down a 700-foot gulley while climbing the An Teallach ridge in the north west of Scotland in 1966.

    I have not seen this since it was on tv in 85. I traversed An Tealach 2 years later when I was 17

    Thanks for posting this film. I remember watching it in 1985. Incredible bravery and wonderful, haunting music by Finbar Furey.

    Great posting. Thanks. I saw it on TV on what I am sure was it's one and only showing. Very well done, Funnily my memory tricked me into thinking it was filmed in Arrochar rather than Glencoe.

      Very warm, very protective and itchy as hell. I've still got mine from the late '70s.

      Bought mine in Joe Browns shop. I think you can still buy them online. They roll down when needed.
