Subscribed. When bushwalking I carry more than water. I carry a PLB and first aid. As far as 4wd'ing goes, a mate once told me that I carried enough recovery gear to raise the titanic. You may remember that Great Wall X240 I had. As far as we know, it was one of the 3 most modified in the country and since I often went out alone, I had to be able to self recover. Anyway mate, great video, I'll be watching more of your videos over the weekend. Cya. Stuart W.
B52 was an 8 jet engine Cold War era plane, still in service today, expected to be in service until 2050s. Longest in service plane in history. B24 was the most produced bomber in ww2
Sometimes, it's better to be scared than silly! Unfortunately, those guys were extra silly with no gear and definitely no idea. Thanks for this video, Jamie. Hopefully, it won't be as long for your next one.
Love seeing the Landy just bimble up the tracks, making it look so easy! I guess you had to find a Toyota or something to pull out! 😛The advice is solid for anyone, whether first timers or seasoned people and it's really good that you're saying it as so many of the higher profile 4x4 people aren't. It works globally, so same advice works here as there or Africa, A great watch. There is a B24 Liberator wreck not far from me, it nose dived into a hill, a lot os still there but burried. Some of the crew survived, They have been back to the site, the first time since the crash, and the last, I think only one member is still alive.
@@overlandready thanks for feed back, always something to fix or help out with on the track haha. We can try and help where we can educating new and old 4x4 drivers on what we know. Wow that super interesting on the other B24 Liberator. If you ever wanted to share more on it I would love to hear. Cheers 💯🔥
Good stuff mate.As for the tucker at camp sites, one of my favourite places to camp years ago used to have a reliable old bush lemon tree that I enjoyed the fruit from. All the best🙂

Great episode. How were the leeches on your visit? We did this trip back in June and they were hectic!
Also… where’s the “troopy”
It wasn't ready when we did this trip.
