The standard of the Irish inter provincial matches is great. Reminds me of the top clubs playing each other in NZ
@Paddy le Blanc crusaders are basically the same thing
@Paddy le Blanc You mean Connacht surely? No such place as Connaught
NO!!!! He means Don't .!!!
Leinster/Ireland fowards ball handling skills is impressive reminds me of the All blacks of old
Connacht actually won the game 56-20, but the kit clash confused the guy working the scoreboard
Amazing after watching the game.last week they wore the same.kits
Connacht need to be given significantly more support financially ASAP!
They need to develop more in house talent. You look at the Irish underage teams atm and the Connacht representation is pitiful. Way more effort needs to be put into the schools game. Look at ulster and Munster over the past few years and the young talent they are developing.
@SB rugby is not popular on Connacht
Why?
@@sc1837 because it’s not accessible enough. Most big schools don’t push it because it’s too difficult to get coaches in, sort out insurance and find pitches. Atm there’s only 6 schools who play in the senior cup consistently.
Why?
Does Henshaw ever have a bad game?
What a game! Well done.
Happy to be alive while Sexton is playing. Ridiculously good.
You can say that aloud
@@karlosdeevs he’s good but not ridiculously good......see how good he he is when plays a decent team
What? lol get a life
@@1477wales4 like the all blacks ? England ?
@@fearmorpiercemacmaghnais7186 exactly he was out of dept in World Cup against the all blacks..
Predictable result but Leinster still had to go out and win well. Who thought it was good idea to have both teams in same jersey ? . I know they are two Teams from same country but, come on. Well done Leinster and hard luck Connacht but , form and squad depth wins out
Yeah. Sitting in the Lansdowne Road end there were several comments among members of the crowd about the silly decision for both teams to wear jerseys with a similar and confusing colour tone! Leinster, as the home team, should have changed. There is a very light blue (sky blue) alternative which would have been more appropriate.
However, very happy with the win and now it’s onwards and upwards! COYBIB 💙
What a difference a week makes
Great centre that Bundee Aki is, that kind of tackle is a serious flaw in his game and has been for quite some time. I’d have thought that he’d have had that one sorted out and put to bed by now.
Yep, total flaw in his game and has caused his team many problems….. the dead man’s tackle has tae go 😎 .
@@polobhuilean5217 : The two tries during the sin bin came right through the hole that Bundee would have been plugging
@@Driver2616 Henshaw ran through Aki when supposedly was filling that gap, so probably didn't make much of a difference anyway.
@@inBODwetrust13 and furlong targets Aki around the ruck for his try. Great player though.
The jersey are way to similar it’s hard to know who’s who
Leinster play superb rugby. Connacht simply out-gunned, but never out-spirited.
For anyone who is colour blind...don't worry we have no clue either between the colours.
FFs, Connacht is the away team they need to be in their away kit/ colour.
Ross Byrne deserves another look at international level
Carberry is garbage...I agree with you...Give Byrne a chance.
No he bloody does not
I agree, we may be underestimating him. His contribution to those two tries by Lowe was class.
He’d be the Finn Russel of Ireland but I think he deserves the chance again
Aki very fortunate not to be sent off once again in a big game. Henshaw looked like he had a point to prove after the 6 Nations and completely outplayed him on both sides of the ball as well. Not a good day for Bundee
I think it's more that henshaw plays for a much better team 😂😂
@@AlanM1994 henshaw outplayed Aki comfortably
Literally ran over bundee
@@HC-uf4tv I'm not denying that all I'm saying it's easy when one is playing for a team miles better 😂
Henshaw was comfortably outplayed by Bundee last week, so more had a point to prove from that than the 6Ns. Aki last week was top class. We're lucky to have both (and Ringrose).
I was at the match. It was amazing
I did not expect that I though Connacht would caused more problems but two silly yellows undid all their hard work.
One way street! :)
The Leinster's Law.
Connacht - flattering to deceive since 2016!
Leinster futur champion d Europe. Super équipe.
As a leinster fan I don’t think so, we are patchy this season
@@HC-uf4tv Eh, if they make another final i'll be very happy
@@karlosdeevs I think if ulster knock Toulouse out they’ll do us a massive favour
@@HC-uf4tv beaten 2ce by ulster this season
@@daithipol leinster second string though
Any chance you could stop putting who wins in the thumbnail or title..... mite be nice to have to watch it to find out....
I personally think leinster need to be better in defence because beening outdone by stronger sides might happen again
💙
I was there
Absolute master class from Leinster. Just puts into perspective how dominant they’ve been in Europe over the last 10+ years! If they had James Ryan, Ryan Baird & Jordan Larmour back they wouldve beaten Connacht by an even bigger score !
I LOVE leinster..However they have been beaten by stronger teams in last couple of years.Hope they go all the way this year..Just wish that the URC was more competitive...
Leinster are a different best this year. They gone to another level!
@@harryocallaghan8082 Ye are both right.
How is lowes second try not a forward pass?
Because it went backwards... The clue is Lowe even caught the ball behind where Ringrose passed it from
Why are we letting Murphy go to Connacht
Yeah he's a good player has a real edge to him, is abrasive and has good skills. We can't keep them all though and Connacht need some more physical players. It's not good for the national team for one side to hoarde all the talent even if they do all come through the Leinster system.
To make room for Joe McCarthy. James Ryan, Ross Molony and Ryan Baird are already better than him in the second row and he hasn't a hope of making the team in the back row
Because he’s not getting game time. James Ryan, Ryan Baird, Ross Molony, Devin Toner, Joe McCarthy are all ahead of him
1st xv V. 2nd xv ( no shame in it )
Leinster operating on a different level to everyone else, a great side to watch. Looks like most of the bandwagon brigade stayed away...... disgraceful.

Ireland vs Connacht 😂😂☠️☠️☠️
Robbie playing against his ole team mates and St Bundi
From this you ask, how did Ireland not win the 6 nations
No Sexbomb, no party
Terrible decision-making against France, that was all.
Carbery is not good enough and ever time I go to my mate Whitsey's house to watch a game we lose. I went to his house that day.
@@daithipol carberry is a 15,leinster knewvit,munster wete sold a pup
@@daithipol nope I’m a Leinster fan it had nothing to do with Carbury. He did his job and nailed his kicking and played well. Game ultimately came down to Ryan’s inexperience as captain and not being brave enough to go for the line/kill as captain. That signalled to France he had no confidence in the line out or the pack. Sexton would have banged it into the 22 and shouted to the pack I’m not leaving here without a win get us set up. we should have had a BP try win in Paris.
So Leinster is basically the Irish international side?
80/85% of it ..
Ireland minus Hendy and Hansen
Pretty much, every position except a lock and right winger
@@flatulentpaul ye and aki killer and carbs plus pom
It's the other way around really. The players were all developed by Leinster
If you beat Ireland, you beat Leinster. I mean if you beat Leinster you can beat Ireland.
my thoughts too when i see Leinster i just see the Ireland national team
Not sure O'Mahony Henderson Aki Bernie and Murray would be on the bench or starting for Ireland. Having them come off the bench helps.
The Oz/Kiwi import on the wing for leninster did a good job guess the wallabies missed him
4 try’s … JL
Im sorry but rugby, there’s always contact with the head every freaking time.. these yellow cards is ridiculously stupid..
This is fake news, there’s no way this match ever happened: it’s not raining.
You can't touch Sexton. Them are the rules.
Seriously though, where was the head contact??
Only thing I can think of was it was a no wrap tackle. The height was fine. Don't get the yellow
There was one angle where it didn’t look like there was contact. The other two did. But the ref had made up his mind. At least he didn’t give him a red.
It’s all about the perception of the people that are officiating. The referee, the touch judges and the TMO are constantly making lots of little decisions during a game, based on what they see. And what they see comes directly from the actions of players. It doesn’t matter what you or I may think. If a player, in this case Bundee Aki, does something that creates a reason for the officials to stop the game and make a big decision, then that player has, by his/her own actions, painted a picture or created a snapshot of a moment in time, that requires a refereeing decision.
There is another aspect to this which affects the perception of referees and the decisions that they make - unfortunately Bundee has a history of such tackles. Referees (as students of the game) will naturally be aware of this whether anybody likes it or not or thinks it’s relevant or not and this will play into the psyche of the referees as they decide how to deal with these issues. Finally, Sexton is a master of “being the victim” (and legitimately so) in these situations. He knows how to project a picture that the officials will see. That will also affect the perception of referees.
There are thousands of players all over the world, at all levels of the game. For as long as they play the game, they never “paint that picture” or never give cause for referees to stop and look again and make a big decision.
Head on head from the touchline angle. It was also late.
I didn't agree it was a Yellow at the game , but from one of the angles in the highlights Bundee's head clashes with Sextons
Aki very unlucky, was just a penalty for a late hit. Didn’t go anywhere near Sextons head
It’s as clear as day when you look at it from the reverse angle. Go back and look again.
It was ahead on head collision. Very clear and obvious.
Look again...Or maybe go to specsavers!
Another ref would give a red,its not as if bundi hasnt got previous form
He's lucky it wasn't a red card - and I'm a Connacht man
He’s such a clown, like a junior version of your famous clown sexton
Ryle Fucking Nugent
P
Leinster should of got a red. Refs are afraid to penalise them
for what?

Does Henshaw ever have a bad game?
It’s rare but it happens when he returned from injury recently he got on for 20 mins and didn’t preform too well.
