Okay Gary Danielson, this has bothered me for years. It's not like Demps was ran down by a linebacker, he was ran down by a cornerback who had three kickoff returns for touchdowns that that point in his college career. Plus Boykin had an angle of Demps.
This was going to be my first game at a Georgia game-watching party at Crystal City Sports Pub in Crystal City, VA. Unfortunately, it started snowing and I thought the roads would be treacherous, so I did not go. My first game at the game-watching party was the Georgia-Auburn game in 2011. It was also the first time that I was able to enjoy a Georgia win! I was getting my Master's degree at Georgia in 2008-2010; both football seasons I was there, Florida ran over Georgia.
UGA owned this decade? If we count 2020 (44-28) UGA only led the series 6-5 since 2010. If we don't count 2020 UGA still only led the series 6-4 wouldn't exactly call that "owning the rivalry." The 2010s were the greatest decade in Georgia football history after the 1940s and 1980s, and the only "great" decade that Georgia had during the modern age of football and ya'll barely led the series lol. UGA will never again own Florida but the same could not be said for Florida, need I remind you of the 2000s and 1990s?
@@davidv8285 yea buddy a decade is ten years aka ten meetings between the teams you have to count 2010 in the decade I'm talking about, but your counting 2020 in the teen decade with the 6-5 remark......... so your whole point is mute the record for the teen decade is still 6-4 no matter how you slice it you can't have 11 years in a decade......... the record for the 00-09 decade is 2-8 90s is 1-9 80s is 8-2 70s is7-3........ etc etc at the end of the day the team that won the decade owned the rivalry that decade..... good luck this year and good luck in recruiting good luck with your head coach..............i wish you the best in life sir but just like the 90s signified the end of the dawgs dominating the gators the teens ended the era of the gators dominating the dawgs regardless of how you personally feel about it the proof is in the winning record.
@@robd1811 Dude I literally told you that its 6-4 without 2020 but that's not "dominating" a rivalry so my point is not mute. The 2011, 2012, and 2019 games were one or two plays away from turning that 6-4 Georgia advantage to a 5-5 tie. I do not think either Florida or Georgia will dominate each other for a long time the rivalry will continue to be competitive and nowhere near as lopsided as it was during the 2000s and 1990s.
@@davidv8285 no your point of it being 6-5 if we count 2010 or 2020 or whichever one is mute because a decade is 10 years not 11.................. every game except one sided blow outs have plays that tilt the balance of the game one way or the other that doesnt change the fact that the teens were dominated by the dawgs like it or not i don't like the fact that the gators dominated the dawgs in the 90s and 00s but they did i don't argue semantics and try to play some mental gymnastics to where i fool myself into believing the series is something it isn't............................... is 6-4 dominating like 8-2 nope but it is still domination like it or not......
@@robd1811 It's not a mental gymnastic 6-4 is not dominating because if you flip the outcome of one close game of which there were 4 which Georgia won, then it's tied 5-5. I wouldn't personally call a rivalry dominated by either side unless it's 7-3 in favor of one team in a decade but I would not call 6-4 a domination especially when 4 games where one score games where if one or even two had gone differently, Georgia would be 5-5 if not 4-6 against Florida in the 2010s and the games which Florida won were all frankly blow out margins. Georgia was just better than Florida at closing out close games in the 2010s and thus has to more wins which I'm not trynna take away from them but it is a fact that they were close 50/50 games that could have gone any other way. However, we can agree to disagree.
@TheUGADawg classy. Cuz we haven't heard that before. hope you booked those national championship seats with that 3 interception performance. Y'all sucked almost as bad as us its ok.
I remember watching this game, I'm a Dawg fan. This was an absolute battle. These two teams left it all on the field.
One of the earliest games I remember watching
I’m so glad we now have Kirby smart. I mean just look at the difference in the fundamentals and the discipline from then to now.

He didn't have a angle. But Boykin is the fastest player on our defense.

Richard Samuel was a bust but he was a hero in this game
UGA won this decade and really owned forcing florida into two coaching changes and it really started when richard samuel started running down hill

Great highlights
Go dawgs
Seth Advani Go Vols
Colby Flatt 41-0
Pennywise the Sith Lord how many nattys
UGA struggled against a broken Brantley and a young Gator defense. I'll be looking forward to them trying this again this year. Chomp Chomp Chomp

Eric is going to make sure we know, "They are in a cover two..."
Florida should have won 30-24
Georgia should have won 37-20
