Interesting, but wish your guest had explained what degree she had studied (unless I missed this). No problem with your video editing (yes the intro was pretty awful and no wonder your guest was looking at you like you were mad, it was kinda offensive). The music though - really distracting!
Cringe at the start - bad direction at its core. Too many cuts I would say and the content is too generic. The host overall does an okay job to ask relevant questions and comes across as more genuine than the speaker (but massive improvement as she just generalised for other students based on one random conversation) Let me debunk a few myths - included in the content - it is not competitive as much as they have portrayed - people are friendly and weekends are mostly in pubs and social events - Not many people would drink between lectures - not that I know of or seen any - Not sure where you get free beers; tubes are pricey Not sure if they even read these comments: but I would really rate this video as 3/10. Very vague and not planned - and even if they plan more of an impromptu experience the calibrations are not useful - may be misleading slightly. For potential students it is very important to speak to many alums instead of forming opinions from just one interaction.
Hey Arpit, thank you so much for such thorough and constructive feedback! We love to have fun while making these and we want to keep experimenting with our skits (even when they get a bit cringe). Sufficed to say-all of Britain is sure to take offense at my terrible impression. As mentioned in the description, each interview is the snapshot of an alum's individual experience, and all students should take this as just one data point in their research to finding the best college for them. Stay tuned for more exciting episodes!
Commented in good spirit only. I am sure the new content would be exciting and more informative than what is available for current students. Looking forward to it.
Thank you so much Athena! This was really helpful.
Awesomeness ❤
Really lovely intro....
"No one speaks like that" 😅
Glad you liked it.
