the fact that this sounds so much like the album version is crazy, AND it's even better than the album version. Very few artists today can sound just as good, if not better, when performing live like mgk can. I'm sooooo glad he's bringing this kind of music back.

As much as I think MGK isn't a great singer, it's admirable that he plays it so honest and close to the chest, he knows his limits and doesn't use any trickery to make himself sound different. It really makes his personal songs hit so much harder.

I'm new to mgk, and I honestly wasnt a huge fan of his discography but I've watched so many of his videos recently because I enjoy his personality - and a lot of the his songs are now growing on me (I fell in love with el diablo immediately tho) and when I actually heard the lyrics of Lonely I just felt the emotion especially in the chorus. Maybe lyrically it doesn't hit as hard at first but I feel like melodically, he captured that feeling of longing for someone who isn't here anymore really well...and then those seemingly simple lyrics hit a bit harder. Idk why I'm rambling but I really do enjoy this song, and this performance made me tear up. I'm so sorry for all the people here who are missing their loved ones rn. Sending love your way tonight.

that song gets me everytime i hear it. the first time listening to the album i skipped that song after the first time hearing the chorus because it made me so sad :( this song really does something to me, and i think this is the most important thing about (his) music, even though i haven't experienced a death of two of my closest family members (i mean, this song is very specific), i still can relate to every word that is in it. i haven't felt like this after listening to a song in years.
Heard this live and with him pretty much crying. The whole crowd was silent and you can just feel the pain, passion, and energy. As emotional as it was, it was raw, pure, and beautiful. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to experience his concert with such talent and passion. ❤️
