There is only one God in our belief who takes manifestations. Similar to your belief in Tawhid. Maybe instead of trying to criticise differences as shirk you try to actually understand the complexity of our faith like we do to yours. As Puja and Reza said, Islam and Hinduism both have the same core values.

She is Hindu Gujarati, Gujarati celebrate Navratri which are currently on going started on 22 March with Hindu New year, But I don't see them celebrating and I know how one Hindu Married in Muslim family no matter man or woman is so poisoned against his or her own identity, Culture, Traditions, Religious Practices.

Persians Iranians celebrate it as a new year ..we know it as many Parisis flew to India to protect their life when they were attacked by Islamic invaders n whole population was converted to Islam or brutally killed ..very few of them could be able to run away n escape from der very own mother land n in the search of safe place they came to India where we don’t convert anyone..we are hindus..we welcome everyone inspite of horrific past with invaders ❤

Ismaili (basically in Asia known as khoja) followers of agha khan celebrate this only they have tag with muslim religion but they celebrate all festivals only in identity they called them as Muslim but in reality they are atheist.
But for ur kind information uncle is Muslim and aunt is a persia before marriage that's why they celebrate nowruz.
My friends are also khoja they also celebrate this.
How about celebrating Hindu New year, which also follows Lunar calendar.

I agree with you that you don't have any privacy when you put your life on social media but they don't celebrate Islamic new year nor Hindu, but they celebrate festivals of both religions and English new year. As a Hindu you are 100% right in everything you said. It's up to them. Just wish that since they are a rarity of a Hindu Muslim couple especially india pakistani they could try to reconcile the faiths better. To make a dedicated video to Persian new year which is 25% of the nationality and not Navratri which is 50% of nationality took some people off guard. But its their choice.
