    • @ParisNikkole
      @ParisNikkole  Місяць тому

      Thanks so much! ❤️ I used the same wax for the candle and the mold to ensure a consistent burn. Sometimes the wick will burn hotter or faster in different types of waxes so being consistent with the wax type is the best option. Although I will say making molds with coconut wax can be challenging.

      Hi Nathaly! Thanks for tuning in! 😊 I heat my wax up to about 200 degrees in the melting pot, I then pour it into the mixing pitcher and allow it to cool down to 165-170 degrees before mixing in the fragrance oil. After mixing the fragrance oil for 1-2 minutes I pour my candle and by this point the temp has cooled to about 155 degrees. Hope this helps!

      I use the cooling bubble wrap on my candles. I also make sure to ship during the week rather on the weekend if it’s UPS to avoid the candles sitting in a warehouse for several days. Also make sure you know when the shipments are leaving the post office and try to get there a few hours before or you risk your orders sitting over night. This has worked for me with no issues of customers receiving melted candles!

    Can you confirm that you are using 480 grams of wax for the molds? That’s more than 16 ounces so that sounds like a lot. Is that the measurement for the entire mold or just one flower? I’m curious as to how much wax it takes for just one of the flowers.

    • @ParisNikkole
      @ParisNikkole  Рік тому +1

      Yes it is 480 grams of wax for 6 molds. So divide that by 6 and it should be 80 grams per mold, give or take. Also, keep in mind, the molds you buy may or may not be exactly the same as what I am using so I would measure a pouring pitcher of water out and then pour it into your mold until you have them filled. Subtract what you used from what you have left in the pitcher and that will give you an answer of how much wax your molds will need.
