Former Mormon here…
I attended BYU-Idaho for a year, and during that entire year, I’m not even sure if I SAW a Black person. The fact that so many students were saying no, they didn’t have any Black friends isn’t surprising in the slightest. You’d have to go out of your way to even **meet** someone who is Black on these campuses. 🤷🏻♀️
Also, why oh why would anyone choose to attend any of the BYUs if they weren’t Mormon? I didn’t even know that was an option until I watched this video, but I seriously don’t understand it. BYU is awful enough when you HAVE drunk the koolaid. I can’t imagine attending it knowing it was all bullsh*t.
I went to BYU for 5 years and LOVED every minute of it.
I think that both attending byu and being Mormon are very personal choices and many people go to byu because it’s a safe and clean campus not because they are Mormon or racist or support what others support. If you are actually familiar with more than social media and a few areas in the USA, you would know that there are many places with an a more common race regardless or political views or religion. There are no laws or rules saying certain races are not allowed in certain states. Your desire to “meet” someone should not be based on race.

Hi there, I grew up Mormon! In the Mormon church, men are bestowed the "preisthood" when they come of age which allows them to perform blessings / different rituals, it's a pretty big deal to them. The church was founded in 1829 and subsequently men deemed worthy were given the priesthood. However, Black men were barred from having the priesthood until much later in 1978, and it is often a point of contention and one of the main arguments as to why the Mormon church is racist. @A Zee well glad its not the religion for me xD
WHY would anyone who isn’t Mormon GO there?! I’m amazed.
Controversal means i know what kind of person you are based on your answer
They should be on youtube, not just TikTok!
I like freedom of thought and speech, this group does that so that is a good thing!!! Nobody should have their speech limited by any group.
Utah… says it all
No Thanks 🤦🏽
While I support there honest answers I don’t like the fact that you guys call it black…. Whatever! I’m a current student at a 80% white college 27% Hispanic 0.3 black and I’m black learn to talk to other people!!! Seriously I hate that most black students feel like oh there white so they automatically don’t like me! That’s not true!! I only say that to say this if a group of white people get together and call it white rights group or whatever the cancel culture would be all over that!
You may want to consider taking a grammar class at your college.
@@Mr.Skylight every word is spelled correctly so other then run on sentences idk what your talking about lol-- plus I’m a engineering major senior year gpa 3.8 I think I’m good lol
What is the point? All these questions have been asked before! So cutting edge
then like people shouldn’t be mad but yet they are
Wait....no coffee?!?!?! What.... How..... Why....
They ask these questions, but no real discussions.🤷🏾♀️
@Tyler G Exactly. Who in their right mind would even attend this school. Oh nvm, we know who.
@@enzop2835 A Mormon.
This is awesome. But really, y’all can’t drink coffee?
yup
This may be ignorant but what do mormons have against coffee?
I'm not on tiktok but I totally support and want to follow black menace. Question ... Can non-black be a black menace?
No
It is owned by the Mormon Church. Not "predominately" Mormon.
You’re right. It’s not predominately, it’s predominantly. Good call.
@@Mr.Skylight Thank you so much Geoff! Your such big help! Irreguardlessly, If peple like you ourn't on the enterwebs correctioning others, than were wood we be3?
