@KapteinOpel - This bike was built by Heiko. You can find him here on UA-cam as well. This one is one of the few with the CVT tranny. Most all his other dieselizations utilize a 3" belt drive to a Harley 6spd Ultima tranny. Advantage of CVT is the whole thing is slightly lighter. Lighter can be a big plus after adding a heavy diesel engine. Disadvantage is it is slightly wider.
Yeah fair enough love the torque figure each to their own, but i will give you this you did a great job putting her together. Street fighter diesel triumph fair play mate.
Tell it to the scooterists who still seem to be enjoying themselves well enough... Nothing quite like having the engine automatically rev up to and hold first the max torque and then max power revs all the way from a standstill up to the Vmax, then back right off to a burble when you ease into a cruise, no fiddling about with a sticky clutch or a peaky engine (TD arguably worse than most gasoline bike engines, too) on tricky hillstarts or when trying to get across a busy road. Makes a 125 *fly*
Like the idea of getting such good fuel consumption! I'm lucky if I can get 40mpg on my 955i triple. Good job very well done but think I'll stick to the better performance and handling of mine.
with a bit chip tuning you can easily increase the power to 60 hp and it will reach 200 kph! But look at the consumption! About 3l diesel for 100km and you always have the torque! You can easily drive up hills even in low rpms!
2.5L/100km plus a 160km/h Vmax gets my vote, as I've a regular bike with about 3.0L and 110km/h... right now if you want to improve one you have to reduce the other, no-one seems to make anything that's both faster and more economic than my cheap hack that's built to a 1970s design :-/
subject ...may be genius....music = maddness....nice to have that music explain the thought processing for us......wow I wonder how bad the music was that came in as second or third choice.
@MooPoo1980 - sounds off.. ahhhh... cause its a diesel. Also CVT makes any engine sound/feel different as the bike speeds up and slows down. Engine majority of the time stays at the most efficient point of engine's power range so it does not do as much rev. down & up in matching with the hand throttle. This alone throws the ears and instictive feelings of years of riding off when you first use a CVT powered rig. For more info on Diesel bikes go to suckindieselDOTcom/thingy/indexDOTphp
@demon6point66 Why? Because it's fun to do something different than simply conform like sheep to riding a bike that everyone else has. Not everyone wants to do 150 mph. There is a lot of pleasure & satisfaction in tripling the mpg of the standard bike. & because this bike is cooler, & will get 100 times more glances & attention than any standard Triumph, - or any other petrol bike. I have a 9 bhp diesel Enfield, 55 mph top speed. NO ONE looks at the superbikes when I pull up.
@TheFflynnie Because 100 mph @ 3600 is fast enough to be entertaining. Because 76 ft/lbs out torque's the original powerplant. & because 114 mpg vs 40 mpg for the original engine, is enough to make anyone grin like a chesire cat.
@DJRuteOfficial cuts weight by 20 something lbs? one less thing to wory about for a new rider to deal with, less complicated for everyone. Benefits are numberous in the long run. Just matters if ya got the balls to get over the feel of the gears and sound of the engine.
another potentially interesting video ruined by un-necessary rubbish music. let's hear about the bike eh? someone has obviously put in a lot of hard work here, the quality of the conversion is obvious. let's have some info, and not that gawd awful second rate fake rock.
no shit, as soon as i found out that you put this gay song on i disliked it. now im not even gonna watch it because the only cool thing about watching turbos on youtube is hearing them. bye. i thought i would let you know.

Fantastic workmanship on that bike!!
Lombardini/Kohler is a great motor! I have an Arctic Cat ATV with a turbocharged/intercooled LD 902, very strong. Great workmanship!
KICK ASS!!! I want a Turbo Diesel Bike. Good music here too.
Nice music video! You should probably do a video on the bike also.
"smell the burning rubber and gasoline" ... er, ok.
Yeah fair enough love the torque figure each to their own, but i will give you this you did a great job putting her together.
Street fighter diesel triumph fair play mate.

Mpg mostly lol. Just like diesel cars vs. gas cars, diesels usually double mpg's. Plus they sound really cool lol.
That was well Cool interesting.thanks for the Video
Well integrated!
diesels are the future, much more efficient than petrol. and so easy to tune
preciosa esa moto. cuantos kilometros recorre por litro de gasoil?
Heiko, gibt's die Maschine noch? War nett, sie damals probezufahren!
great workmanship. Who makes the engine? and what model: thanks
It seems a factory product, really nice job.
nothing like ripping through the gears!
omfg ... I love that mounted boost gauge... Im gonna mount my acewell MD-53 in that exact same spot. Is that a custom angled bevelled spacer below?
Cool. Does variomatic refer to the transmission like on old Daf cars?
i never liked speedtriple sound but your one it's the best :-)
You don't like the sound of a speed triple? Do you have a pulse?
fatandy5250
Not when I ride my RSV :-p
Don't get me wrong, Italian V-twins sound amazing (my first bike was a 748s). Speed triples growl at you when you twist the throttle, just my opinion.
cool engine sound...for me awesome
It'd be nice to have offered some performance figures.
Diesel sounds cool?! Its really true! It can only be the end of the world!
I'd like to see it with shaft drive. All that torque with chain drive? Nice bike though. The fuel savings would pay for a few chains :)
with a bit chip tuning you can easily increase the power to 60 hp and it will reach 200 kph! But look at the consumption! About 3l diesel for 100km and you always have the torque! You can easily drive up hills even in low rpms!
Looks like a Kohler Lombardini motor. I turboed/intercooled the Lombardini in my Arctic Cat, pulls like a train!
Lombardin/Kohler has cam driven mechanical Bosch fuel injectors, no tuning, however you can turn up fuel and turbocharge!
@@formerice I've got a Lombardini 502 with the camactuated injectors. How do i turn the fuel up with those?
Don't know why, but seems to pretty popular to do diesel bikes!:/
Rocksteady - Houdini Roadshow
Thats the best thing that could ever happen to a 595 speed trip.
Would be great to know more about this conversion and hear the engine rather than the music!
I want one BADDDD!
i like diesel bikes

is this a production bike or somebodys project?
whats the mpg on that sweet ride
subject ...may be genius....music = maddness....nice to have that music explain the thought processing for us......wow I wonder how bad the music was that came in as second or third choice.
Well ???????????///
What engine is it ?
When will he tighten the Chain ?
My Dorsett diesel Matchless 200mpg but only 60 Mph Max is OK for me .
Der Motor ist eingetragen???
Fuel Consumption ??
@maddkraut03 Lombardini LDW 10003 with home brewed turbo added
Fuel efficiency. Also torque, I guess?
where can i get one
is the variomatic from a volvo car??
sounds like a diesel 6 cylinder truck
what engine was used and how hard to install????

awefull
CVT because it would trash a conventional gearbox in a short time. I haven't seen a DMF small enough to use yet.
is the transmission stock ???
Fantastic bike, but a narrative of how you built it would have been better.
bhp?
Who wants to hear music. We want only the sound of the bike
@macv2moto top build B-)

ooohhh that poor Speed Triple :/

What kind of MPG?
200mpg? Citation needed, etc.
009 sound system would have sounded better than this audio track :/
_
Cool bike though, wish we could have heard more motor, less music.
Need a bigger air filter!!
la musique est enorme! y a un didier qu a rien pigé...
Billy Idol.
you'll never be so slow!|
@sicolife last I heard 90+ mpg
Never mind all that shit, how fast is it?
The same here..
cool.. but i'd prefer a normal gearbox though...
Why do people put naff songs on otherwise good videos?
To each their own. I like the clack of diesels. You may not. Don't really give two fucks.
I know how diesels are and that thing must redline at 2000 rpm LOL. Fuel milage must be great though.
My Arctic Cat red lines at 4,300 with similar Lombardini diesel.
Music off, please!!
who sing ?
Billy Idol.
Why? Engine power, and weight aside.. Look at how much lean angle you lose. Unbelievable why anyone would blow a shitwad of cash on this.
@zedthoua1h 40 bhp @ 3600. 74 ft/lbs.
Tracteur avec deux roues ??? C'est con :p
Yeh its a tractor baby.
WHY WHY WHY ?????????????????????????????
CVT - way to kill fun from riding...
no shit hu? lol
why does everyone do that?
looks it's about a motor, not the song, lets here the motor...duh!
@dam4274 how it was built- learn about it and others at
suckindieselDOTcom/thingy/indexDOTphp
PLEASE reload the video WITHOUT that awful music playing!!!
the "music" totally spoils this video,, thumbs down for the music
Please get rid of the godawful music and let the engine do the talking. :-)
i hate it i mean what the fuck!
get rid of the music.
Its a diesel engine, it can't sing, sorry!
OmG I wanna hear the engine not that awfull song...
Interesting idea, awful song/sound levels
another potentially interesting video ruined by un-necessary rubbish music. let's hear about the bike eh? someone has obviously put in a lot of hard work here, the quality of the conversion is obvious. let's have some info, and not that gawd awful second rate fake rock.
Why diesel...why shit music..
