*How do YOU prepare for gigs?!*
Great show! You guys were rockIn it
Thank you Mark! Always appreciate your support
Have you messed with the Dyn IRs in the FAS stuff? Can you get close to what you like there? - Bruce
I've dabbled here and there but I prefer the full on Impulse Response because they get me exactly where I want to be without using too much of my time. Someone else already did the positioning and fine tuning haha. One day I might dive deeper but the stock Mesa IRs are phenomenal.
My band uses tracks, so we literally never rehearse. Learn the song to the track and see you at the gig - Bruce
100% agree. Even my wedding band that doesn't use tracks, you just need to learn the song and we'll arrange it at the gig. I find the less you rehearse usually the better the gigs tend to be (as well as the pay in the case of weddings!)
Now the problem is will their band communicate these changes? I’m always ready I do mostly what you do. But when they don’t tell me “hey no solo, or key change” then I look like the asshole lol 😂
The Rockets are great with changes before hand. I'll always ask for an update at sound check and adjust accordingly 😄
What IR from the tone mission stuff do you use?? Also you using high and low cuts?
Hey! I'm using the Dream World Rhythm Blend! No cuts needed in my experience.
Oh no! What happened to the Nebula?
Some minor repair and setup work is being done to that, I should have it back this week!
