I'd forgotten how much I loved having an mp3 player. I do want something with high sound quality. I used to do straight rips from my CDs to DVDs at full bitrate, so I may look into this. Thanks, Justin!
Dude, I just picked up an mp3 player (HiBy Digital M300), for similar reasons. Also wanted to be able to listen to music without phone notifications interrupting me.
Just got a Ruizu A55 & love it, support for 32bit OGG is nice, hoping it does the even better Opus. Firmware is ok but want to see if the firmware is Linux and hack in more features like ftp and dlna. Still have many iPods, Sansa, Olympus and gigabeat with Rockbox.
Sorry if I've missed it, but after turning it off, then on again - does it return to where you were in the podcast/song? (Whoops.....................3:02 🤭🤣) Also, must you have an sd card for this device to work? Thx ! 😁
My friend, the #1 thing I need is for this thing to have super fast forward search. Sometimes, I'm listening to a long podcast and I want to be able to zip to a certain spot without sitting there for 30 seconds waiting for the fast forward to get me there. How does this do?
I currently have an sandisk clip zip mp3 player and with that i listen to my music by the albums in alphabetical order, one right after the other without it shuffling(when one albums ends another one starts). Will this mp3 player do the same thing?
Does the bluetooth sound as good as an Android phone (aside from the connection issues)? Because I have a cheap mp3 player but the bluetooth sounds a bit distorted. Thanks!
I miss my original sansa clip. I still have it but the battery is pretty much useless now and I don't know how to change it. The FM radio on it was great.
Thanks very much for your video. I LOST my Sansa Sport Clip -- I'm so angry with myself for that, as they just aren't available any more. Soooo, I ended up with a Riuzu X52, which works a lot like the Sansa, except I am unable to figure out how to make my audiobooks (MP3) play in the correct order. I have determined that the settings are OFF for repeat and shuffle, and have gone into the files theselves on my computer and made sure the chapters were numbered in the correct order (01, 02, 03, etc), but the shuffle icons still show on the screen, and the chapters are all mixed up. (Shuffle icon on screen are two crossed arrows pointing up/down.) I have the audiobooks in the MUSIC file, as there is no AUDIOBOOKS folder. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for any assistance. I am 86, BTW, but still fairly computer savvy, and I listen with Bluetooth to my hearing aids.
Have you tried the podcast folder? I haven't really tried audio books in there. Also, did you check the MP3 tags of the chapters? I had a Sansa clip + and miss that thing as well. I really don't understand why they quit making them, they were great players.
Thanks for the review! One important question for you - How fast is the scrolling of the long play-lists? Assume I have several thousand songs in the playlist. How fast can I get to the middle of the list?
@@demonicsweaters oh I don't need a specific number, just curious if it actually supports the function of fast scrolling. Some MP3s are simply scroll one by one so that's why I wonder if this one (raisu x52) can scroll fast really long playlists?
How about EQ presets like rock, hip hop this DSP giving distorted (witch is normal in the Other hand speaking of very Old School recordings eq gives the boost to the signal) but in modern recordings or even remastered it just sounds terrible... Just check out and see 🤔
@@tolubie2243 Mine sounds just fine. I listen exclusively to talk radio recordings on mine, so maybe music doesn't sounds so good, but on the other hand maybe yours is just defective. I have a hard time believing that an EQ setting would correct muddy sound.

It’s a lot of fun, I dig this one!

I’m looking for something that is similar to the Sansa Clip that is no longer made. Does this unit allow for playlists? Is there an earphone jack?
Yes, this unit has an earphone jack, and it allows for playlists. Hope this helps!

Maybe someone out there did it online, I'm not sure.
Does it sort the songs by track order or alphabetical order?
do you know any products like this with USB-C i went to check it out and the product listing seems to be stuck on "currently unavailable"
That usually happens when they’re sold out
can it play 24bit 96kbps flac?

And you rock btw, 86 years young!

fast-ish? There's no real way to measure this.

dude, if you have tried the iPod shuffle gen 4 or any other iPod models how does the sound compare to this ruizu x52 ?
Mate I upgraded my Ipods to 512 Gb & a Massive battery that will get it running up to at least 60 hours
Does this have a shuffle mode for music playback
Yep
Thank you im gonna order one@demonicsweaters
Can you play M4A files with it?
Is the mp3 player compatible with AirPods 2 pro?
Probably, but you won't be able to access all of the Airpod's features.
Does this support M3U playlists?
Yep
@@demonicsweaters Thanks!
Ordered
