Carroway (CEC) 52" Hugger Ceiling Fan

Antique brass finish with cherry blades. Manufactured for Carroway by CEC in the early 1980s. Uses a 3 speed pullchain. Motor is cast iron, with their signature golden olive paint. One thing that makes this fan stand out is the filigree on the sideband; it mimics the same pattern found on globe light fitters. This is one of the earlier examples of a hugger fan.
Performance is.....mediocre. The motor was de-tuned slightly for used in a flush-mount environment, running at a slightly lower speed on high. The blade pitch is about 10 degrees. Due to a lack of cavitational space, a hugger fan by nature will move less air.
