What is Peter Kimani rambling about? What has Nigerian Navy port-calling in Mombasa got to do with poverty in Nigeria? Is Kimani saying a country should not invest in its Navy/armed forces until there are no longer hungry people in that country? He's so quick to tell me that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world, but what has this got to do with Nigerian naval vessel? Kenya has its own armed forces, the navy, the army, and the air force, but there are very very poor people in Kenya like any other country, so why is Kimani's outrage only reserved for Nigeria? In any case, how could you leave the poverty in your own country and be more concerned about Nigeria's? And you want me to think you are genuinely concerned about poor Nigerians? No thanks Kimani, we know what this is all about. Save us the comedy of taking painkillers/paracetamol for someone else's pain/headache. Kenya has a lot of work to do in eradicating poverty in Kenya, let Nigerians worry about their own problems.

To Peter Kimani, here is a reply to your comment. Do you think a statement like 'hungry Nigeria people' as a comment on a news item about a Nigerian Navy vessel calling at a port in Kenya is an intellectual thing to say? LOL. Well, there are people who don't have time for impostors like you. Dressing up in a suit and tie to say silly things wouldn't change the fact that what you said is manifestly silly and completely lacking in basic common sense. We are not impressed by bumbling pseudo-intellectuals dressed up in a cheap flea market suit and tie spouting rubbish. You are never going to convince me to take you seriously, Njoroge, you don't know what you are talking about.

To peter Kimani, god help us if you really think the nonsensical drivel you posted in that comment is what passes for 'intellectual debate'. A Nigerian Navy vessel called at a port in Kenya, and the response of one ignorant joke of a pleb here in cheap flea market suit and tie is to bring up the same old trope of "hungry Nigeria people". What has that got to do with whatever intellectually deficient argument you are trying to make? Where is the logic in that Mr Flea-Market-Suit-&-Tie? The truth is, like many here and out there, you just couldn’t help yourself, you couldn’t resist the pleasure you all get from insulting Nigerians for no reason, that’s what it is, but Mr Flea-Market-Suit-&-Tie thinks gratuitous insult is intellectual debate. Well, if that’s what passes for intellectual debate in Kenya, it’s definitely not the case where I come from.

It is unfortunate that this warship was entirely built in Denmark, when it should have been a joint venture initiative between both countries. Nigeria has two ship building and repair dockyards presently producing naval gunboats for the Nigerian Navy. Nigeria has the capabilty of building helicopter aircraft carrier warships if she wants to. The ability is there, a landing deck on a ship for small attack helicopters is all that is required to be installed a such a ship...
